Today, Mytour will guide you through the process of clearing your browsing history on an iPad. You can do this on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. If you'd like to "clean up" your message history, you can also delete messages.
Steps
Safari

Scroll down and tap on Safari. This option is located about a third of the way down the Settings page. The Safari settings will open on the right side of the screen.
- Make sure to scroll on the left side of the screen to find the Safari option.

Scroll down and tap on Clear History and Website Data at the bottom of the Safari options.

Tap Clear when prompted. Safari's browsing history will be immediately deleted.
Chrome

Open Google Chrome. The app's icon looks like a sphere with red, green, yellow, and blue sections on a white background.

Tap the ⋮ in the top-right corner. A dropdown menu will appear.

Click on Settings near the bottom of the dropdown menu. The Settings window will appear.

Click on Privacy under the “Advanced” section in the Settings window.

Click on Clear Browsing Data located at the bottom of the Privacy window.

Check the box for Browsing History (Browser History). This is the first option in the Clear Browsing Data window. If you see a blue checkmark next to this option, it means Browsing History is selected.
- You can also check other options you wish to delete (e.g., Saved Passwords).

Click on the red Clear Browsing Data button near the bottom of the Clear Browsing Data window.

Click on Clear Browsing Data when prompted. Your Google Chrome browsing history will be erased from the iPad.
Firefox

Open Firefox. The app's icon is a fox, orange in color, circling a blue globe.

Click on ☰ at the top right of the screen. A dropdown menu will appear.

Click on Settings located below the gear icon within the dropdown menu.

Scroll down to the section between the "Privacy" options and click on Clear Private Data (Clear Private Data).

Make sure the "Browsing History" slider is highlighted in orange. If the slider next to "Browsing History" is not orange, click on it before proceeding.
- You can also toggle other sliders on this page to select items you wish to delete, such as "Cache" and "Cookies".

Click on Clear Private Data near the bottom of the Clear Private Data window.

Click OK when the confirmation prompt appears. Your Firefox browsing history will be erased from the iPad.

- Clearing your browser history can help improve your iPad's speed, especially for older models.
