Steps

Activate Wi-Fi Direct on your Samsung Smart TV. First, make sure your TV is ready to accept Wi-Fi Direct connections. Using the TV remote, press the Menu button. Scroll down to the Network menu, then press the center button to select. On the Network page, choose 'Wi-Fi Direct'.

Start the connection from your Samsung phone. On your phone’s home screen, pull down the Apps menu and tap Settings. Next, go to the Connections page and tap Wi-Fi, then select 'Wi-Fi Direct'. From the list of available devices, select your Samsung TV.

Accept the connection request on the TV. After setting up the connection from your phone, a prompt will appear on the TV screen asking if you want to accept the connection request.
