Fixing Common Gmail Issues
Change or Reset Gmail Password. One of the most frequent reasons users need to contact Google or Gmail is to reset their forgotten Gmail account password. You can reset your password from the website on your computer.
- If you know the password and just want to change it, you can do so both on the website and through the mobile app.
Unfortunately, there's no direct way to contact Google. You can't call or email the Gmail support team since there are no phone numbers or email addresses available for use. However, you can try using Google's Support Center to address the issue.
Get acquainted with the basic rules of Gmail. If you're new to Gmail, especially the new version, take a look at the user guide for troubleshooting and understanding how Gmail works.
Block emails from unwanted senders. You can prevent emails from unwanted senders by blocking their email address.
Mark unwanted emails as spam. If you're receiving unwanted emails from services or subscriptions, you can mark them as spam to notify Gmail that similar emails in the future should also be directed to the Spam folder.
Add contacts to your account. You can add contacts to your Gmail account using the Contacts app (Address Book) directly from your inbox.
If you wish to recover an email that you accidentally deleted within the past 30 days, you can restore it from the Trash folder. You can also check the 'All Mail' folder (located under 'More' on the left side of your Gmail inbox) to see all of your stored emails, though you'll need to first click 'More' to expand that section.

Visit the Gmail Help page. Go to https://support.google.com/mail/ using a web browser on your computer.
Select a topic category. Click on one of the categories below the search bar on the Help page. The category will expand, showing related topics underneath.
- You can also search for a topic by clicking on the search box near the top of the page, entering keywords or a description of your issue, and choosing the most relevant topic from the dropdown menu.
- If you're unsure where to start, try selecting the Popular articles category.
Select a topic. Click on one of the titles that appear under the chosen category.

Báo cáo lỗi với Gmail
Open Gmail. Visit https://www.gmail.com/ using your web browser on your computer. Your Gmail inbox will open if you are already signed into your Google Account on the browser.
- If you're not signed in, enter your email address, click Next, enter your Gmail password, and click Next again to sign in.
- If you've forgotten your Gmail password, you can reset it and log in with the new password.
Go to the Gmail page that encountered an error. If you are reporting a specific issue with your Gmail inbox to Google, make sure you navigate to the affected page and ensure the issue is still visible on the screen before proceeding.
- Skip this step if you're not experiencing any Gmail issues.
Click on Send feedback (Provide feedback). This option is located at the bottom of the dropdown menu. A form will appear.
Enter your feedback. Click the white text box labeled "Send feedback" at the top of the form, then type the information you wish to report to Google.
Select an area to capture in the screenshot. Click on the screenshot button below the text box, then click and drag the mouse over the area you want to select. Click DONE to save the screenshot.
- If the issue you're reporting isn't a Gmail error, uncheck the box "Include screenshot" to exclude the screenshot.
Click the SEND button at the bottom of the form. The error report will be sent to the Gmail support team.

- You cannot call or email the Gmail support team; any phone number or email address claiming to be Gmail support is a scam.
