This article guides you on how to use your Android phone or tablet to control another Android device. You can use the free version of TeamViewer for Android to perform this task, or if the Android device you wish to control is rooted, you can use the RemoDroid app.
Steps
Using TeamViewer
Install TeamViewer on the Android device you want to use for controlling.
Google Play Store- Tap the search bar.

Open TeamViewer QuickSupport. Tap OPEN in the Google Play Store or tap the TeamViewer QuickSupport app icon on the Android device you want to control.
- If you're using a Samsung Android device, you may be prompted to download additional tools when you open the app.

View the guide. Swipe left on the screen until you reach the homepage of TeamViewer QuickSupport.

Check the Android device's ID. You'll see a 9-digit number in the center of the screen. This is the ID you need to enter on the controlling Android device.

Open TeamViewer. Tap the TeamViewer app, represented by the two-way arrow icon. Remember, this step should be done on the Android device used for controlling the other Android device.

View the initial guide. Swipe left on the screen until you reach the homepage of TeamViewer.

Enter the ID of the other Android device. Tap the "TeamViewer ID" field and type in the 9-digit number displayed on the other Android device.

Tap REMOTE CONTROL below the "TeamViewerID" field.

Accept the connection on the other Android device. Tap ALLOW or CONNECT on the Android device you want to control when prompted. At this point, you can control the other Android device; any actions you take on the controlling Android will be mirrored on the other device.
Using RemoDroid

Root the Android device if you haven't done so already. To use RemoDroid for controlling another Android device, the controlling Android device must be rooted.
- If you prefer not to root the device, you can try using TeamViewer.

Tap CONNECT TO PARTNER on the rooted Android device to open the list of devices you can connect to.

Select the second Android device. Tap the name of the second Android device near the top of the screen.

Tap CONNECT at the bottom of the screen.

Confirm the connection when prompted. You must tap ALLOW or CONNECT on the second Android device before you can control it. Once connected, you can control the linked Android device, with all actions performed on the controlling device appearing on the other Android.
Tip
- TeamViewer remains the best option unless the Android device used for controlling another Android has been rooted.
Warning
- The free version of TeamViewer on mobile allows only a 5-minute session at a time.
