Here’s how to transform a Nerf gun into an awesome airsoft gun. Pro tip: a larger Nerf gun works better, especially a pump-action model, as it increases the FPS (feet per second).
Instructions
Pick up any Nerf gun; it doesn't matter which one.
Grab a Nerf dart (the ammunition for the Nerf gun) and remove its tip. This will give you a foam tube.
Take a Bic pen and use pliers to remove both ends, leaving just the tube.
Insert the Bic pen tube into the foam dart tube; the dart should cover about half of the pen.
Place the dart end into the barrel, press the dart as far in as you can, then slide the pen tube into the barrel.
Pull the trigger and fire a few times to check that the dart doesn't fall out.
Pull the trigger and aim at your hand; if you feel air pressure, you're all set!

For a better hold, slightly crumple the tape on the end of the pen tube.

If you want, you can paint your gun black like a real Airsoft gun, but be sure to keep the orange tip to stay within legal limits.

Only fire at someone during an Airsoft match to avoid accidents.
