Today, Mytour will guide you on saving PDF files as images using Microsoft Word, the Preview app on Mac, or Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Steps
Using Microsoft Word

Create a new file in Microsoft Word. First, launch the software with the blue W logo. Then, click on the File option in the top menu bar and select New Blank Document.

Click on the Insert option in the menu bar.

Next, click on Photo, then select Picture from file….

Select the PDF file you want to save as an image.

Click the Insert button.

Then, right-click on the image.
- On Mac, hold the Control key and click.

Click on the Save as Picture… option located near the top of the menu.

Enter the image name in the "Save As:" field.

Choose the save location for the image using the dialog box.

Click on the dropdown menu labeled "Format:".

Select one of the available image formats such as:
- PNG
- JPEG
- GIF
- BMP

Click on Save to save. The PDF file is now stored as an image in the location you specified.
Using the Preview App on Mac

Open the PDF document in the Preview app. Double-click the blue Preview icon, which resembles overlapping photos.
- Click on the File option in the menu bar, select Open... from the dropdown menu, choose the file in the dialog box, and click Open.
- Preview is an Apple image viewer application, automatically integrated into most versions of the Mac OS.

Click on the File option in the top menu bar.

Select Export As…. This option is located near the middle of the dropdown menu. A dialog box will appear.

Click on the dropdown menu labeled "Format:".

Choose one of the available image formats such as:
- JPEG
- JPEG-2000
- OpenEXR
- PNG
- TIFF

Set the save location for the file.

Finally, click Save. The PDF file has been saved as an image on the Mac operating system.
Using Adobe Acrobat Pro

Open the PDF document using Adobe Acrobat Pro. First, double-click the white Adobe Acrobat app with the stylized red A logo. Then, click on the File option in the top menu bar, select Open..., choose the PDF document you want to convert to an image format, and click Open.

Next, click on the File option in the top menu bar.

Click on the Save As… option located near the middle of the dropdown menu.

Select Image.

Then, choose one of the available image formats such as:
- JPEG
- JPEG-2000
- TIFF
- PNG

Set the save location for the image.

To complete the process, click on Save. The PDF file is now saved as an image on your computer.
