Mytour is here to walk you through the steps of copying images from one location and pasting them somewhere else on your Windows/Mac computer, as well as on iPhones, iPads, or Android devices. Keep in mind that not every image online is free to copy. Using someone else's images without their permission could lead to copyright infringement.
Steps
On Windows

Select the image you want to copy:
- Image: On most Windows apps, you can select the image you want to copy by clicking on it.
- Image file: Click on the image file on your computer that you want to copy and paste.
- You can select multiple files by holding the Ctrl key while clicking the images you want to select.

Right-click on the mouse or trackpad. If you're using a trackpad, depending on your computer settings, you can right-click by tapping two fingers on the trackpad or by tapping one finger on the right side of the trackpad.

Click on Copy or Copy Image. The image or file will be copied to your computer’s clipboard.
- Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+C. On many applications, you can also click Edit from the menu bar and select Copy.

Right-click on the document or field where you want to insert the image.
- For files, click on the folder where you want to paste the image.

Click on Paste. The image will be inserted into the document or field where the cursor is located.
- Alternatively, press Ctrl+V. On many apps, you can also click Edit from the menu bar and choose Paste.
On Mac

Select the data you want to copy:
- Image: In most Mac applications, you can select the image you wish to copy by simply clicking on it.
- Image file: Choose the file on your computer that you'd like to copy for pasting, or select multiple files by holding down the ⌘ key to choose several files at once.

Click on Edit in the menu bar.

Click on Copy. The image or file will be copied into your clipboard.
- Alternatively, you can press ⌘+C. You can also right-click on your mouse or trackpad. If your Mac doesn't have a right-click function, press Control while clicking, and then choose Copy from the pop-up menu.

Click on the document or field where you want to insert the image.
- If it's a file, click on the folder where you want to place the data.

Click on Edit in the menu bar.

Click on Paste. The image will be inserted into the document or field where your cursor is positioned.
- Alternatively, press ⌘+V. You can also right-click on your mouse or trackpad. If your Mac doesn't have right-click functionality, hold the Control key while clicking, and then select Paste from the pop-up menu.
On iPhone or iPad

Select the image you want to copy. To do this, press and hold the image until a menu appears.

Tap on Copy. The image will be copied into your device's clipboard.

Press and hold on a document or field where you want to insert the image.
- If the location where you want to paste the image is in a different app than the one you are copying data from, you will need to open that app first.

Click on Paste. The image will be inserted into the document or field where the cursor is placed.
On Android

Select the image you wish to copy. To do so, press and hold the image until a menu pops up.

Tap on Copy. The image will be copied to your device’s clipboard.

Press and hold on a document or field where you would like to insert the image.
- If the location where you wish to paste the image is in a different app than the one you’re copying from, be sure to open that app first.

Click on Paste. The image will be inserted into the document or field at the cursor's current position.

- Using images you find online for personal purposes may violate copyright laws.
- Make sure to credit the source for any image you use.
