Looking for more brain-teasing games? Following the success of Wordle and other engaging games like Connections and Strands from The New York Times, LinkedIn launched their own version of classic puzzle games, including Tango. With daily play and escalating challenges through the week, Tango is a perfect addition to your puzzle-solving routine. A traditional 3-in-a-row game set on a 6x6 grid featuring two symbols (a sun and a moon), the objective is to complete the grid. Occasionally, LinkedIn introduces themed boards and symbols for special holidays and events.
How to Play the Game
- Two identical symbols cannot be adjacent (horizontally or vertically).
- Each row and column must have an equal number of symbols (3 suns, 3 moons).
- Cells marked with an equals sign = represent identical symbols.
- Cells with an x sign
Steps to Success

- In this instance, since the column already has three moons, the remaining squares could also be deduced to be suns without the equals sign.

- Placing a different symbol between or adjacent to pairs of identical symbols.
- Filling the remaining squares while ensuring columns and rows stay balanced.
- Using the signs between squares to guide your moves.
- Considering how one symbol placement will influence others to avoid creating a 3-in-a-row.
-
The game will automatically detect any errors and highlight the row or column where the mistake occurs.

Your connections will be able to see your progress and vice versa. Share your scores and challenge your connections to beat your time!

A fresh puzzle is released daily at midnight Pacific Time. Once the new day begins, the previous day’s Tango is no longer available to play.
