Complete the About section. In this step, provide basic information about the subject. It's also helpful to include a description and a link to your website, as this will boost your page's ranking.
- You can also provide other links, such as the link to your organization's Twitter page.
- Confirm whether your page represents a real celebrity.
- Click "Save Info" to save your information.

Develop the page

Provide more details for your fanpage. After creating your Facebook page, if you want to build support, you'll need to offer as much information as possible. Here's what you should do:
- Start by liking the page to begin gathering support.
- Post status updates to keep your followers informed. Write a post in the discussion box and click "Post".
- Upload additional photos to give your audience more insight into your organization. Click on "Photos". Once a new page opens, click "Add photos" and select the image you want to upload from your computer.
- Upload a cover photo. Click on "Add a cover" on the right side of the cover photo area, then click "Upload Photo". Choose a photo to serve as your cover image.

Use the dashboard to edit your page, build an audience, and seek help. You'll use these three toolsets to improve your page. Here's how:
- "Edit Page": When you click on this option, you can update your page, manage permissions, add administrators, manage notifications, view the activity log, and see the list of blocked users.
- "Build Audience": Clicking this tab lets you invite email contacts, Facebook friends, share, or create ads for your page.
- "Help": If you have any questions about managing your page, visit the Help Center for assistance or tips on how to get started.
- You should only use the "Build Audience" option after you've filled out the basic information for your page and know how to operate everything. Fix any issues first because once your page runs smoothly, your audience will be impressed.
Tips
- Tell your friends about your fanpage. Without over-hyping it, you can generate interest in your company.
