Today, Mytour will guide you through the process of setting up a free personal GitHub account. A free GitHub account offers unlimited access to both public and private software repositories, allowing collaboration with up to 3 other users. For advanced features, you can upgrade to GitHub Pro, which removes collaborator limits and provides unrestricted access to repositories, statistics, wikis, and more.
Steps

Visit https://github.com/join using a web browser. You can use any browser on your computer, phone, or tablet to sign up.

Enter your personal details. In addition to creating a username and providing an email address, you’ll need to set up a password. The password must be at least 15 characters long or a minimum of 8 characters with a number and lowercase letter.

Click the blue Create an account button. This button is located below the form.

Complete the CAPTCHA challenge. The process may vary depending on the challenge, so simply follow the on-screen instructions to confirm you are not a robot.

Click the Choose button for the plan you want. GitHub will send a confirmation email to the address you provided. Plan options include:

Click the Verify email address button in the email from GitHub. Your email address will be confirmed, and you will be redirected back to the registration process.

Review your plan selection and click Continue. You can also opt to receive updates from GitHub via email by checking the "Send me updates" box (leave it unchecked if you prefer not to receive updates).

Select your preferences and click the Submit button. GitHub will display a quick survey to help tailor your experience to your needs. Once completed, you’ll be directed to a screen where you can set up your first repository.
Tips
To access the GitHub dashboard, click the cat icon in the top-left corner of the page. To customize your personal profile, click the menu in the top-right corner and select Your profile.
