Today, Mytour will guide you through the process of removing the background from an image using Microsoft Paint on your computer. Paint can filter out the background color of an image (if it's a single color) so you can paste the image elsewhere. However, the app does not allow you to save images with a transparent background, and all transparent areas will turn white in the saved image.
Steps

Open the image in Microsoft Paint. Right-click the image file, hover over Open with, and select Paint from the list of apps.
- The selected file must be an image with a solid color or white background.

Select Color 2 in the toolbar. You need Color 2 as the background color for the image.
- For example, if the background is white, set Color 2 to match the white shade of the background.

Click on the droplet icon located on the toolbar.

Click on the background image to set the Color 2 selection as the new background for the image. You can now separate the image from its current background color.

Click on the Select option in the toolbar. This option can be found near the top left corner. A dropdown menu will appear.

Click on Transparent selection from the menu. This transparent selection option will be activated for all selections, and a checkmark will appear next to this option in the menu.

Select either Rectangular selection or Free-form selection (Free-form selection). These options can be found in the Select menu.
- Depending on the area to be selected, you can use either of these two tools in transparent selection mode.

Select the image from which you want to remove the background. Click and hold the left mouse button, then move around the object.
- A black border will appear and disappear once you release the mouse button.

Right-click on the selected area. A dotted rectangular border will appear around the selection.

Choose Cut or Copy from the right-click menu. The transparent selection will be copied to the clipboard.
- The image with the border will be separated from the background.

Open a new image in Paint. You can paste the image you just copied here.

Paste the copied image. Right-click on the new image and select Paste. The object you copied or cut will be pasted into the new image with a transparent background.
