This guide explains how to delete a Facebook page you've created. You must be an administrator to delete the page. The page deletion process is different from deleting a Facebook account.
Steps
Using the Facebook app on your mobile device

Open Facebook. The Facebook app has a blue icon with a white "f". Simply tap the icon on your home screen to open Facebook.
- If you're not logged in, enter your email address (or phone number) and password, then tap Log In.

Tap on ☰. This is the three horizontal lines icon located in the upper right corner of the Facebook app, just below the message icon. You will see a menu appear here.

Tap on Pages (Pages). This option is located near the middle of the menu and is marked with an orange flag icon next to it. All the pages you manage will be listed here.

Tap on the page you want to delete. Your Facebook pages are organized by the level of access you have.

Tap on Edit Page (Edit Page). This button, represented by a pencil icon, appears on the right side just below the cover photo and page name. On iPhone, this option appears under the blue "Add a Button" option. A menu will appear on the screen allowing you to edit the page.

Tap on Settings (Settings). This is the final option at the bottom of the Edit Page menu. The Settings page will appear on your screen.

Tap on General (General). This option is located at the top of the Settings menu, right next to the gear icon.

Scroll down and tap on Permanently delete [page name] (Permanently delete [page name]). You'll find this option under the "Remove Page" section towards the bottom of the General Settings menu.
- On an iPhone, the option may appear as Delete [Page Name]? (Delete [page name]?).

Tap on Delete Page (Delete Page). This blue button located to the right is used to confirm your action to delete the page, which will be permanently removed.
Using the Facebook app on iPad

Open Facebook. This is the app with a white "f" on a blue background. If you're logged in, this action will take you directly to your News Feed.
- If you're not logged in, enter your email address (or phone number) and password, then tap Log In.

Tap on the ☰. This is the three horizontal lines icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen. A menu will appear when you tap it.

Tap on Pages (Pages). This option is located in the middle of the menu and has an orange flag icon next to it. All the pages you manage will be listed here.

Tap on the page name you wish to delete. Pages are organized based on your access level.
- If you can't find your page here, scroll down and select Pages towards the bottom of the menu. You might need to tap See All first.

Tap on the …. This option is located in the top right corner of the screen.

Tap on Edit Page (Edit Page). This option is located near the top of the menu currently displayed.

Tap on the Settings (Settings). This option is located at the bottom of the "Edit Page" menu. The page settings will be displayed on the screen.

Tap on General (General). This option is located at the top of the "Settings" page.

Scroll down and tap on the "Delete" link. The "Delete" link for the Facebook page appears at the bottom of the page and typically reads "Delete [your page's name]".

Tap on Delete [Page Name] (Delete [Page Name]). This is the blue button near the top of the "Remove Page" section. After tapping it, you will have 14 days to reconsider. After that time, you will be asked to confirm your decision to delete the page again.
Use the Facebook Page

Open the Facebook page. If you're already logged in to Facebook, this will take you directly to your News Feed.
- If you're not logged in, enter your email address (or phone number) in the fields at the top right of the screen and click Log In.

Click on Pages (Pages). This option is found in the left-hand section of the page, next to the orange flag icon and below the "Explore" header.

Click on the name of the page. The page name is located at the top right of your News Feed, directly beneath the "Your Pages" header under your profile tab.

Click on Settings (Settings). You will find this option at the top right of the page. The Settings menu will appear immediately after clicking.

Scroll down and click on Remove Page (Remove Page). This option is located at the bottom of the screen; clicking it will expand the selection to reveal the page deletion link.

Click on the page deletion link. This link will display the text "Permanently delete [your page's name]" at the bottom of the page.

Click on Delete Page (Delete Page). This is the blue button in the window you're viewing. Clicking it will schedule the page for deletion and remove it from search engines. After 14 days, you'll be prompted to confirm your deletion decision, after which the page will be permanently removed.

Click on Ok. Your Facebook page has been permanently deleted.
Advice
- If you'd prefer to hide the page instead of deleting it, you can choose to stop posting to hide the page.
Warning
- You cannot recover a Facebook page that has been permanently deleted.
