PDF files are excellent for preserving the original layout of a document, but editing them can be a challenge. Even a simple task like deleting a page can be troublesome since Adobe's free reader software lacks editing tools. Fortunately, there are numerous solutions available to help you quickly remove pages from your PDF.
Steps
CutePDF Software (Windows Operating System)

Download CutePDF. This is a free program that adds a virtual printer to your computer, allowing you to convert any document into a PDF. You will use this software to create a new PDF file from the original, containing only the pages you wish to keep. Visit cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/writer.asp and click on both "Free Download" and "Free Converter". If you only need to delete one or two pages from a single file, consider using an online tool for faster results.

Run the CuteWriter.exe file to install CuteWriter. During installation, click Cancel on the first prompt, then click the link "Skip this and all remaining offers."

Run the converter.exe file to install the software required by CuteWriter. Click the Setup button to proceed with the automatic installation.

Open the PDF file you need to work on. You can open the file in any PDF reader or web browser.

Click on "File" → "Print." We are not actually printing the document but using this step to create a new PDF file.

Select "CutePDF Writer" as the printer.

Select "Pages" or "Range" and enter the page numbers you wish to keep. For example, if you have a 7-page document and want to remove page 6, enter "1-5, 7."

Click the Print button and choose to save the file when prompted. By default, the new file will be saved in the Documents folder.
Preview Application (Mac Operating System)

Double-click the PDF file to open it in Preview. If the PDF opens in another program like Adobe Reader, right-click the file, select "Open With," and then choose "Preview."

Click the "View" menu and select "Thumbnails." All pages of the PDF will be displayed as thumbnails in the sidebar.

Select all the pages you want to delete. You can hold the Command key to choose multiple pages or click and drag to create a selection area.

Click the "Edit" menu and select "Delete." All selected pages will be removed.
Smallpdf Tool (Online)

Open the SmallPDF homepage in your browser.

Drag and drop the PDF file you want to edit into the browser window. Alternatively, you can click the "Choose file" button.

Select all the pages you want to keep. You can hold the Shift key to choose multiple pages at once. Alternatively, you can enter the page range in the input field at the bottom of the page.

Click "Split PDF" after selecting the desired pages. A new page will appear.

Click "Download File Now." The new PDF file will be downloaded to your computer. You also have the option to save it directly to your Dropbox or Google Drive account.
Adobe Acrobat Software

Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat. Note that you cannot delete pages using the free Adobe Reader program.

Click the "Page Thumbnails" button in the left-hand panel. If you don’t see it, navigate to "View" → "Show/Hide" → "Navigation Panes" → "Page Thumbnails."

Select the pages you want to remove. You can click and drag to choose multiple pages at once or hold the Ctrl key while clicking on individual pages to mark them for deletion.

Click "Delete" to remove the selected pages. The "Delete" button is located at the top of the Page Thumbnails panel.
