Is the ad-blocking software preventing you from accessing certain websites? Whether you're using AdBlock or Adblock Plus, turning off the ad-blocking feature is easy to do on all popular browsers, including Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and even on Android browsers like Samsung Internet. This guide will help you learn how to pause AdBlock and Adblock Plus, disable the ad-blocking feature on a specific website, and completely turn off the ad-blocking program.
Steps
Disabling AdBlock or Adblock Plus on Your Computer

Open the web browser. You need to open the browser where AdBlock or Adblock Plus is installed.

Open the "Extensions" page of your browser.
- Chrome: Click on the three vertical dots at the top-right corner of the Chrome browser, select More tools, and click on Extensions.
- Firefox: Click the three horizontal lines at the top-right corner, choose Add-ons, and select Extensions.
- Edge: Click the three horizontal dots at the top-right corner and select Extensions.
- Safari: Open Safari, click on the Safari menu, and choose Safari Extensions.

Find the AdBlock or Adblock Plus option. In the list of extensions, locate the name of the ad-blocking program you wish to disable. Next to the extension name, you’ll find a checkmark or a toggle button to enable or disable it.

Use the toggle button or checkmark to turn off AdBlock or Adblock Plus. On Chrome, Firefox, or Edge, slide the toggle to the Off (gray or white) position to disable the extension. On Safari, uncheck the box next to AdBlock or AdBlock Plus in the left-hand frame.
- You can reactivate AdBlock or AdBlock Plus anytime by toggling it back on or checking the box again.
Disabling AdBlock or Adblock Plus on a Website via Computer

Visit the website. Once you load the website using a browser with AdBlock or Adblock Plus enabled, the icon for the program will appear near the top-right corner of the browser.
- For example, if you want to disable AdBlock on Mytour, visit www.Mytour.com here.

Click on the AdBlock or Adblock Plus icon. If you are using Adblock Plus, you will see a red stop sign icon with the white "ABP" letters. If you are using AdBlock, the icon will be a stop sign with a white hand.

Turn off the ad-blocking program on the page. If you're using Adblock Plus, slide the toggle next to "This website" (to allow ads across the whole website) or "This Page" (to allow ads on just the current page) to the Off position. If you're using AdBlock, select Don't run on this page.
- You can reactivate Adblock Plus on this website anytime by clicking the program's icon and sliding the toggle back to On.
- To enable AdBlock on that website, click the program's icon and select Enable AdBlock on this page.

Disabling Adblock and Adblock Plus on iPhone or iPad

Open Safari on your iPhone. It is the blue and white compass icon on the home screen.

Tap the Aa. This option is found on the address bar at the top of Safari.

Tap on Turn off Content Blockers (Disable content blocking program). This option is found below the menu. When the content blocker is disabled, Adblock Plus will stop blocking ads on Safari.
- You can enable Adblock Plus again by tapping on Aa and selecting Turn on Content Blockers.
Disabling AdBlock on Android

Open Firefox or Samsung Internet on Android. AdBlock is only available on these two Android browsers.
- This guide applies only to AdBlock, as Adblock Plus is no longer available on the Play Store.

Tap the ⋮. This is the three vertical dots icon located at the top-right corner of your browser.

Enable content blocking program. The steps vary depending on your browser:
- Firefox: Tap on AdBlock and select Pause AdBlock.
- Samsung Internet: Tap on View without content blocker.

Reactivate AdBlock when needed. If you are using Samsung Internet, there's no need to adjust the settings as the content blocking program will automatically re-enable when you switch to another page. However, if you use Firefox, tap the menu, select AdBlock and choose Unpause AdBlock.
Tips
- You can also remove AdBlock or Adblock Plus from your browser by clicking the Delete, Remove, or Uninstall button next to the relevant option in the "Extensions" page of your browser.
