Today, Mytour will guide you through the process of disabling Driving Mode on both iPhone and Android phones. Driving Mode is a feature that silences notifications on your phone when it detects you're moving in a vehicle.
Steps
On iPhone

Scroll down to find the option "DO NOT DISTURB WHILE DRIVING" (DO NOT DISTURB WHEN DRIVING). This option is located near the bottom of the page.

Tap on Activate below the "DO NOT DISTURB WHILE DRIVING" heading.

Tap on Manually at the bottom of the menu. This ensures that the Do Not Disturb mode will only be activated when manually selected.

Turn off Do Not Disturb as needed. If Do Not Disturb is on, tap the "Back" button at the top left of the screen, then scroll up and tap the green "Do Not Disturb" toggle.
- You can only use the Control Center to disable Driving Mode as instructed in the first step of this section.
On Android

Open the quick settings menu. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers. A menu will drop down.

Look for the "Driving mode" or "Do not disturb" notification. When Android activates the driving mode, a notification will appear in the status bar.
- If you're using a Samsung Galaxy, simply tap the Do not disturb icon that appears in the drop-down menu to turn off the driving mode. You may need to confirm the action.

Tap the notification. The settings page for the driving mode will open.

Press the colored button next to "On" or "Do not disturb". Typically, you'll find it near the top of the screen, but different Android devices might offer slightly different options for driving mode. Once you tap the button, the driving mode will be disabled for the time being.

Disable driving mode on a Google Android device. For example, on a Pixel 2, open Settings, tap Sound, tap Do Not Disturb preferences, select Driving, and then tap DELETE on the "Driving" rule page.
- You might need to turn off Do Not Disturb mode before you can delete the "Driving" rule.
- If you haven't set up a "Driving" rule, driving mode won't activate automatically on your Pixel phone.
Advice
- Driving mode typically won't activate automatically on Android unless you've set it up beforehand.
Warning
- Unfortunately, you might need to try several times to completely disable driving mode on Android, as the process can vary by device.
