Today, Mytour will guide you on how to copy movies you've downloaded to your Windows or Mac computer onto a USB flash drive. When downloading movies, ensure you are not violating any laws regarding illegal multimedia copying. In most cases, you may need to pay to download movies legally.
Steps
Download Movies

Find the movie you want to download. There are many sources where you can download movies, from YouTube to file-sharing websites. In most cases, you may need to pay to download movies legally.
- Ensure you are not breaking any laws before proceeding with the download.
- On torrent sites, you can download movies using uTorrent or BitTorrent.

Ensure the movie you choose is safe. When downloading any content from the Internet, be cautious of sites with excessive ads or pop-ups, as well as those without the "HTTPS" protocol before the "www" in the address.
- If possible, review user comments and ratings about the file. If others have reported viruses or issues, avoid using that site.
- Also, confirm that the movie format is compatible with your computer, TV, or other devices you plan to use for playback.

Download the movie. Click the "Download" button on the site, which may be labeled Download or feature a downward-pointing arrow.
- Depending on your browser settings, you may need to select a download location (e.g., the desktop) before the file begins downloading.
- Ensure the download button you click is part of the site and not a pop-up ad. Genuine download buttons are usually links, not green or flashing buttons.

Wait for the movie to finish downloading. Once the movie is on your computer, you can proceed to transfer the file to your USB drive.
Transfer Files on Windows

Plug the flash drive into a USB port on your computer.

the movie file. Click on the movie file, then press Ctrl+X to cut it. The movie file will disappear.
- If you want to keep the movie file on your computer, press Ctrl+C to copy it.

Open This PC. Type this pc, then click on This PC at the top of the Start menu. A new window will open.

Open the flash drive. In the "Devices and drives" section near the middle of the window, double-click on the USB's name.
- If you don't see anything under the "Devices and drives" heading, double-click on the heading itself.

Paste the movie file. In the USB window, press Ctrl+V. You'll see the movie file appear in the drive, though it may take a few minutes to complete the transfer if the file is large (e.g., over 1 GB).

Transfer Files on Mac

Plug the flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
- If your computer lacks a USB 3.0 port, you'll need a Thunderbolt 3 to USB adapter or a USB-C flash drive.

Locate the movie file. Navigate to the folder where you downloaded the movie.
- By default, most browsers save downloaded files in the Downloads folder, which you can access by clicking Downloads on the left side of the Finder window.

the movie file. Click on the movie file to select it, then click Edit at the top of the screen and choose [file name] from the dropdown menu.
- For example, if the movie file is titled "The Hobbit (English)", select "The Hobbit (English)" from the Edit dropdown menu.

Click on the USB name in the bottom-left corner of the Finder window. The flash drive will open in the main Finder window.

Paste the movie file. After opening the USB window, click Edit again and select Paste Item.

Eject the USB. When prompted, you can safely remove the flash drive from the computer's USB port.
Tips
- Ensure the movie source is trustworthy before downloading it to your computer.
- Torrent downloads are generally safer than downloading files from random websites. Check reviews and comments on each torrent to ensure the content is safe; if a torrent has no reviews or low ratings, avoid downloading it.
- When downloading torrents, you may encounter unnecessary additional content like sample images or text files. You can uncheck these files when prompted to avoid downloading them.
Warnings
- If your system alerts you that the downloaded content contains a virus, delete the file immediately and run an antivirus scan on your computer.
