Today, Mytour will guide you on how to download Bollywood movies (Hindi films produced in Bombay, India) to your smartphone or computer. If you want to download Hindi movies for free on your computer, you can use YouTube or uTorrent. You can also purchase Bollywood movies on your iPhone and Android by using iTunes Store or Play Store. Remember that downloading movies that are meant to be paid for is considered copyright infringement and is illegal in many countries.
Steps
Using YouTube
Visit Bollywood YouTube Channel. This channel includes various categories of Hindi movies, all of which are available, and you can download them for free using an online converter program.
Scroll down and click on Popular Videos (Popular Videos). This title is located near the middle of the page. The channel's popular video section will show full-length films.
Browse through the available movies. You can scroll down until you find the movie you want to watch or use the search bar to look for it by title.
Select the movie. Click on the movie you want to play. The movie will open in playlist view mode.
Edit the movie's URL to remove the 'Playlist' tag. You cannot download the movie unless the URL no longer contains the 'Playlist' tag. To remove this tag, click on the movie's URL at the top of the browser window, then delete the phrase &plist and any text to its right.
- For example, "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12345&plist=12345" should be changed to "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12345"
Copy the movie's URL. Select the remaining URL of the movie and press Ctrl+C (Windows) or ⌘ Command+C (Mac) to copy.

Using uTorrent
Install uTorrent if you haven't already. This software allows you to open torrent files after downloading. Torrents are linked files used for downloading data (in this case, movies) to your computer. You can download and use uTorrent for free.
- Note: Downloading paid, copyrighted movies for free is illegal.
Open a search engine. Google or Bing are popular options. Since you're looking for a free version of the movie that can be downloaded, you'll need to use a search engine to explore as many websites as possible.
Enter the movie title. Please type the movie title along with the keyword torrent download, and then hit ↵ Enter.
- For example, you can search for the keyword terror 2017 torrent download.
Select the movie to download. Click on the link that contains the information you are searching for. Typically, a torrent link for a movie will include the title, the language used, and the file quality.
Check if the torrent is safe to download. Here are a few ways to assess:
- Read reviews. If most are positive, the torrent may be safe to download.
- Check the rating. A high rating indicates the file is safe, while a low rating suggests the file is corrupted or not recommended.
- Look at the "seed" to "leech" ratio. "Seed" refers to those uploading the file, while "leech" refers to those downloading it. If no one is uploading, you won't be able to download the torrent, so look for files with more seeds than leeches.
Find and click on the "Download" button. This button may look different and be placed in various positions depending on the website. Look for any option labeled Download or an icon of a downward arrow above the file. Alternatively, you may find a button called Get Torrent or something similar.
- You might be redirected to advertisements several times before the actual download button appears. In that case, close the ad windows and click the "Download" button again.
Wait for the torrent to finish downloading. The torrent file usually takes just a few seconds to download to your computer.
Open uTorrent. The application features a green background with the µ symbol.
Click on File (File). This menu is located in the top-left corner of the uTorrent window (Windows) or screen (Mac). A dropdown menu will appear.
Click on Add Torrent… (Add Torrent). This option is in the dropdown menu. A new window will open.
Select the torrent. Click on the torrent file you just downloaded. You may need to click on the folder where your torrent is stored (for example, "Downloads") on the left side of the window.
- On Windows, you can scroll up or down on the left side of the window to find the folder.
Click on the Open option in the lower-right corner of the window. The torrent will open in the uTorrent program.
Select the movie storage folder. Click on the ... button located to the right of the "Save In" section at the top-left corner of the window, then choose the folder (e.g., Desktop) where you want to save the movie.
Click on Select Folder (Select Folder). This option can be found in the bottom-right corner of the window.
Click the OK button at the bottom of the window. The movie will begin downloading.
Wait for the movie to finish downloading. The download process can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the number of seeds, internet connection, and file size.
Play the movie. Double-click on the movie file you just downloaded in the storage folder to view the film using your preferred media player.
- If the movie doesn't play on your computer, you can convert the file to MP4 format. If you have the VLC media player installed, no conversion is necessary.
Using the iTunes Store app
Open the iTunes Store app. It has a white star icon set against a pink background.
Click on the Search (Search). This magnifying glass icon is located at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the search bar at the top of the screen.
Search for a movie. Type the name of the movie and tap Search on the keyboard.
- You can also type hindi or bollywood if you simply want to find movies of those genres.
Click on the Movies (Film) tab at the top of the screen.
- If you can't find this tab, click on the More button, then choose Movies from the dropdown menu that appears.
Select a movie. Tap on the movie you wish to purchase to open its dedicated page.
Click on the BUY (Buy) button located at the top-left corner of the page.
- You can also choose RENT if you prefer to rent the movie instead of buying it.
Enter your Touch ID fingerprint. Place your finger on the Touch ID sensor when prompted. This step is required to confirm your agreement to purchase the movie.
- If you do not use Touch ID, your device will ask you to enter your Apple ID password. You may need to tap the Buy button again before entering the password.
Wait for the movie to download. Once it's done, you can watch the movie using the pre-installed TV app on any iPhone or iPad running iOS 10 or later by following these steps:
- Open the TV app
- Tap on Library
- Select the movie.
Via the Google Play Store
Tap the button with the ☰ icon at the top left of the screen. A menu will appear.
Tap on Movies & TV (TV & Movies). This option is located near the top of the dropdown menu.
Click on the search bar at the top of the screen.
Search for a movie. Enter the movie name and click the Search button, or press the ↵ Enter key on your keyboard. The movie will be searched on the Google Play Store.
- If you're unsure of the exact movie title, you can type hindi or bollywood to see a list of Hindi-language films in general.
Select a movie. Click on the movie you wish to download. The movie page will open.
Click on the BUY button at the top left corner of the screen.
Select the quality. Choose either SD (standard definition) or HD (high definition) when prompted. Some movies may not offer an HD option.
Click on the BUY button when prompted. The movie will be purchased and added to your account.
- If you haven’t set up payment details on Google Play, you will be prompted to do so before proceeding.
Open the Google Play Movies & TV app. The app is red with a movie reel icon on top.
- If you don’t have the app, you can download it for free from the Google Play Store.
Open the library. Tap the ☰ icon in the top left corner of the screen, then select Library from the dropdown menu. The movie will appear here once it has finished downloading.
Watch the movie. Tap on the movie to open it. You will be able to watch the movie on your Android device.
Tip
- You may find some free Hindi movies on public movie archive websites, like Public Domain Torrents.
Warning
- Stealing film copyrights is illegal in most countries. It's best to avoid downloading torrent films that aren't owned by you.
