This article will guide you through the process of manually downloading one or more images from a website to your iPhone, iPad, Android device, or desktop computer.
Steps
On iPhone or iPad

Open your web browser.

Find an image to download. This can be done by scrolling or searching for a specific image.
- On the Google search page, click on IMAGES below the search bar to view images related to your search.

Press and hold an image to open it.

Tap Save Image. The image will be saved to your device, and you can view it in the Photos app.
- On devices with 3D Touch, such as the iPhone 6S and 7, press the Share icon (a rectangle with an upward arrow) below the image, then tap Save Image.
- Not all images on the web are downloadable.
On Android

Open your web browser.

Find an image to download. You can do this by scrolling or searching for a specific image.
- On the Google search page, click on IMAGES below the search bar to view images related to your query.

Press and hold an image.

Tap Download image (Download image). The image will be saved to your device, and you can view it in your device's photo app, such as Gallery or Google Photos.

On Windows or Mac

Open your web browser.

Find an image to download. You can do this by scrolling or searching for a specific image.
- On the Google search page, click on Images below the search bar to view images related to your query.

Right-click on the image. This will bring up a context menu.
- On a Mac without a right-click mouse or trackpad, Control+click or tap with two fingers on the trackpad.

Click Save Image As… (Save image as...).

Name the image and choose the location to save it.

Click Save (Save). The image will be saved in the specified location.
