This guide provides detailed instructions on saving Instagram photos to your phone or computer. While Instagram's app and website don't allow direct photo downloads, third-party websites and apps can help you save and download images to your computer, iPhone, or Android device.
Steps
Using DownloadGram on a Computer

Visit the DownloadGram website. Go to https://downloadgram.com/ using your browser. This platform allows you to download Instagram photos directly.

Open Instagram in a new tab. Click the "New Tab" icon to the right of the DownloadGram tab, then go to https://www.instagram.com/ to view your feed if you're already logged in.
- If you're not logged into Instagram, enter your username and password to sign in before proceeding.

Find the photo you want to download. Scroll through your feed until you locate the desired photo, or visit the profile of the person who posted it.
- To access the poster's profile, click the "Search" bar at the top of Instagram, type their username, and select their profile picture from the results.

Click ⋯. This option is located at the bottom-right corner of the photo. A menu will appear here.
- If you're on someone's profile, first click the photo you want to download.
Click Go to post. This option is at the top of the menu. You'll be redirected to the photo's post page.

the photo's URL. Click the address bar at the top of your browser to highlight it, then press Ctrl+C (Windows) or ⌘ Command+C (Mac) to copy.

Return to the DownloadGram tab. Click on the DownloadGram tab to reopen the page.

Paste the URL. Click the search bar in the middle of the page, then press Ctrl+V (Windows) or ⌘ Command+V (Mac). The Instagram post's web address will appear in the search bar.

Click Download. This is the gray button below the search bar.

Click Download image when prompted. This green button appears below the Download button. Once clicked, the Instagram photo will download to your computer and save to your browser's default download folder.
- On some browsers, you may need to select a download folder and click Save or OK to complete the download.
Using BatchSave on Android
Download BatchSave.
Google Play Store- Tap the search bar.
- Type batchsave
- Tap BatchSave for Instagram
- Tap INSTALL
- Tap ACCEPT when prompted.

Open BatchSave. Tap OPEN next to the BatchSave icon, or tap the BatchSave icon in your Android app drawer.

Tap SKIP. This option is at the bottom-left corner of the screen. It allows you to skip the tutorial.

Log in to Instagram. Enter your username and password, then tap Login with Instagram to proceed.



Tap the "Search for Users" input box. This option is located at the top of the screen.
- If you don't see this input box, first tap the Users tab at the top-left corner.

Enter the username. Type the username of the account containing the photo you want to download, then select search for user below the input box.

Tap the user's profile picture. Their profile picture will appear first below the search bar. This will take you to the user's profile.

Select the photo. Scroll through the chosen account until you find the photo you want to download, then tap on it. The photo will open in full screen.

Tap the "Download" arrow. This downward-pointing arrow is located at the bottom-right corner of the photo. This action will download the photo to your Android device, and it will be saved in your photo library.
Using InstaGet on iPhone
Download the InstaGet app.
App Store- Tap Search.
- Tap the search bar.
- Type grabit - tag and view into the search bar.
- Tap Search
- Tap GET next to the "GrabIt" app.
- Enter your Apple ID or use Touch ID when prompted.

Open InstaGet. Tap OPEN next to the app's icon on the App Store, or tap the InstaGet icon on your iPhone's home screen.

Log in to your Instagram account. Enter your Instagram username and password, then select Login.

Tap ☰. This option is at the top-left corner of the screen. A menu will appear.

Tap Search. This option is in the middle of the menu.

Tap the search bar. This tool is located at the top of the screen.

Enter the username. Type the username of the account containing the photo you want to download, then select Search.

Tap the user's account. This is the first result on the page. This action will take you to the user's Instagram profile.

Find the photo you want to download. Scroll through the user's profile until you locate the desired photo.

Tap the "Download" arrow. This downward-pointing arrow is located below the photo. It will turn blue, indicating the photo has been downloaded to your iPhone.
- You may need to tap OK twice to allow InstaGet access to your photos.
Tips
- When using the Instagram app, you can always take a screenshot of the photo you want to save.
- BatchSave allows you to select multiple photos at once by tapping and holding a photo until a checkmark appears, tapping on other photos, and then tapping the download arrow at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
