The methods in this article may not be suitable for iOS devices due to their design. If you want to download YouTube videos to watch on an iPad or iPhone, use the methods above to download them to your computer first, then sync them to your device via iTunes. Be patient! Even a 1-minute video might take 2 or 3 minutes to download. A computer with a good connection and ample storage space will download faster.
Search for music videos and download them as mp3 files to get audio tracks. However, the quality may not be the best since they are extracted from videos rather than CDs.
WARNING! Downloading music and videos may violate copyright laws, as companies own the rights to them. When downloading, your IP address is logged by YouTube, and they can share it with your internet service provider, who may sue you for revenue loss. Only download content from YouTube with explicit permission from the content owner. Otherwise, you are literally stealing their property.
