How to Check Your TikTok History on Mobile:
The easiest way to review your TikTok history is by using your mobile device. There are multiple methods available, so choose the one that best suits your situation.
1. Quick Search
If your only goal is to revisit the history of videos you’ve watched, follow these steps.
Step 1: Open the TikTok app → tap on the Search icon (magnifying glass) located at the top right corner of the main screen.
Step 2: In the search bar, type a single period "." and press Search.
Step 3: At this point, the View Your Watch History section will appear at the top. Tap on it to review the videos you’ve watched.
Step 4: Locate the video you’ve watched to save or download it (if desired).
You also have the option to delete watched videos by tapping Select → choosing the video you want to remove → Delete.
2. Searching Through Your Account Profile
In addition to checking your watch history, you can also review your comment history or search history on TikTok by following the steps below.
Step 1: Open the TikTok app and tap on Profile at the bottom right corner of the main screen.
Step 2: On the user profile page, select the Three horizontal lines icon at the top right corner → Settings and Privacy.
Step 3: Scroll down and choose Activity Center → Here, you can select to view your Watch History, Comment History, or Search History, and delete specific items as desired.

- Next, on the results page displaying Top videos with related or similar content, select the Watched tab. TikTok will then filter out videos you’ve previously viewed.
- For even more precise results, tap the Three dots at the top right corner → Filters.
Here, TikTok allows you to refine your search for watched videos using detailed filters such as:
- Sort by: Relevance; Upload date; Number of likes.
- Video Category: All; Liked; Followed creators
- Upload Date: Last 24 hours; This week; This month; Last 3 months; Last 6 months.
4. Download Your Personal Data
Finally, to access your complete and detailed TikTok history, you can download your account’s personal data.
Step 1: Open the TikTok app → Profile → Three horizontal lines.
Step 2: Select Settings and Privacy → Account → Download Personal Data to obtain a copy of your TikTok data.
Step 3: Under the Data Request section, tap Select Data to Download. You can choose to download All Data or Customize the information you want included in the file, such as Activity, Messages, Profile, and Posts → Done.
Step 4: After finalizing your selections, click Request Data to complete the download request. TikTok will prepare your file, which will be available for download within a maximum of 4 days.
