For iPhone and iPad, cookies are enabled by default on both Firefox and Chrome browsers, and this setting cannot be turned off.

Using Google Chrome on Your Computer



Click on the ⋮ button located at the top-right corner of the Chrome window to open the options menu.

Using Google Chrome on Android

Tap on 'Site settings' in the middle of the Settings page.

Tap on 'Cookies' at the top of the screen.



- If the slider is blue, Google Chrome has accepted cookies.
Using Firefox on a Computer

Open the Firefox app with the orange fox icon wrapped around a blue globe.

Click on the '☰' icon in the top right corner of the Firefox window to open the options menu.

Click on 'Options' in the middle of the list to open the Settings page.

Click on the 'Privacy & Security' tab on the left side of the page.

Click on the 'Firefox will' dropdown under the 'History' section to open the selection menu.

Tap on 'Enabled' at the top of the menu to enable cookies in your Firefox browser.
Using Microsoft Edge on a computer

Open Microsoft Edge by clicking the white 'e' icon on a dark blue background, though sometimes the 'e' may appear in dark blue.

Click on the '⋯' icon in the top right corner of the window to open the options menu.

Click on 'Settings' below the options menu to open the Settings menu on the right side of the window.

Scroll down and click on 'View advanced settings' near the bottom of the Settings menu to display the Advanced settings menu.

Scroll down and click the 'Cookies' selection box near the bottom of the menu. This will open a new set of options.

Click on 'Don't block cookies' in the options menu to ensure that Microsoft Edge allows cookies from now on.
Using Internet Explorer

Open Internet Explorer by clicking on the light blue 'e' icon surrounded by a yellow ribbon.



Click on 'Internet options' near the top of the displayed menu to open the corresponding window. It may take a few seconds for the 'Internet options' menu to appear in the list.

Click on the 'Privacy' tab at the top of the Internet Options window.

Click on 'Advanced' in the top-right corner of the 'Settings' section to open additional Settings options.

Check both 'Accept' boxes under the 'First-party Cookies' and 'Third-party Cookies' headings. If these boxes are already checked, you can skip this step.

Check the box labeled 'Always allow session cookies' near the center of the window. Skip this step if the box is already checked.

Click on 'OK' at the bottom of the window to confirm your changes and close the window.

Click on 'Apply' and then click on 'OK'. Both options are located at the bottom of the Internet Options window. This will apply the changes to Internet Explorer and close the window. Now Internet Explorer will accept cookies. Skip this step if you don't need to make any changes to the current Settings window.
Use Safari on your computer.

Open Safari by clicking on the blue compass icon in the Dock on your Mac.

Click on 'Safari' at the top-left corner of the screen to open the options menu.

Click on 'Preferences…' in the 'Safari' menu to open the settings window.

Click on the 'Privacy' tab with the hand icon at the top of the Preferences window.

Uncheck the 'Block all cookies' box. You’ll find this option under 'Cookies and website data' near the top of the window. This action will allow Safari to use cookies. If the box is already unchecked, Safari is not blocking cookies.
Use Safari on your iPhone.


- Safari is not available on the Android operating system.

Scroll down the screen and select 'Safari' towards the bottom of the Settings page to open Safari's settings menu.

Scroll to the 'PRIVACY & SECURITY' section, located near the middle of the Safari menu.


- If the slider is white, your browser has accepted cookies.
Advice
- If you have enabled cookies but a website still asks you to enable them, try clearing your browser cache and deleting your browser cookies.
- There are two main types of cookies: first-party cookies are those stored by the browser to remember settings, while third-party cookies allow other sites to access your browsing data.
