In the free-to-play online game Roblox, players use blocks to enhance their virtual environment. While the game itself is free, players have the option to spend real money to buy Robux (R$), the in-game currency. This currency is used for trading, making in-game purchases, or acquiring virtual items for your character. Whether it's Robux, collectible items, or user-created trades, exchanging items in Roblox can be an exciting way to obtain new gear and upgrades.
Steps to Follow
Preparing for the Trade

Join the Builders Club. To start trading items in Roblox, you must first become a member of the Builders Club. This requires a monthly or annual subscription, which can range from $5.95 to over $100. You can find more information about the Builders Club on the official Roblox website at www.roblox.com.

Collect Items for Trading or Investment in Robux. By gathering rare or limited edition items, you enhance your chances of a successful trade. You can also make the trade more appealing by offering Robux, or adding items that are more valuable than what you currently own but are still within reach.

Set Your Trade Availability. In Roblox, you can control whether you're open to trades through the settings menu in your account profile. There, you'll find a dropdown menu under 'Trade Accessibility' where you can toggle your trade readiness on or off.

Search for Friends. On the Roblox homepage (www.roblox.com), use the search bar to find friends by typing in their username. Once you've found your trade partner, visit their profile and initiate the trade by selecting 'Trade Items'.
- You can also check their inventory to see if they have items that pique your interest.
Trading in Roblox

Log Into Roblox. Now that you're a member of the Builders Club and ready to trade, simply log into Roblox as you normally would. Be sure that your trade settings are enabled by checking your profile under the 'Trade Accessibility' dropdown and ensuring that you're ready to trade.

Search for Builders Club Members to Trade With. You can only trade with other Builders Club members if both of you are ready for a trade and have enabled the option to include each other in trades. You can initiate a trade with anyone who meets these criteria.

Open the Trade Window through a User's Profile. If you know someone's username and want to trade with them, you can visit their profile by searching for their username in the search bar at the top of the Roblox homepage. Next to the 'Send Message' button, you'll see a 'More' dropdown. From this menu, select 'Trade Items' to open the trade window.

Negotiate Your Trade Deal. If you have extra Robux and would prefer to use them instead of trading a rare item, or vice versa, you can adjust the terms of the trade until you find an arrangement that suits both parties.
- Note that the market rate when trading R$ is 30%. The total R$ value will include this 30% discount.

Proceed with the Trade. Once the trade window is open, all of your limited items and the ones belonging to the person you're trading with will be displayed. You can add them to the trade with a single click. If you mistakenly add an item, simply hover over it and click the 'Remove' button next to it.
- You can also initiate the trade directly from the user's inventory, where you'll find the 'Trade Items' button at the bottom of the screen.
- The amount of Robux you add cannot exceed 50% of the current trade value in the game. For example, if the trade value is R$300, you cannot add more than R$150.
- When the trade is initiated, the user you're trading with will receive a notification along with a private message and your trade offer.
- Most players prefer to increase the Recent Average Price (RAP) when making a trade. For instance, someone is more likely to accept a trade if it increases their RAP by several hundred. Trading with someone who is lowering their RAP is a high-risk move.

Browse and Filter Trade Listings. Return to your profile and access your trade page. You can find it via the 'Trade Type' dropdown on the trade page. Here, you'll see various highlighted trade offers that you can either accept or decline. You can also request more information about a trade by clicking the 'Counter' button.
Tips
- Save time by ensuring your trade offer is reasonable.
- You can also look for others interested in trading by checking item comment sections in the catalog.
