Use Home Remedies

Apply Honey. Honey is not only useful for treating acne scars but also acne itself. It’s gentle on the skin and helps reduce redness and irritation. Honey possesses antibacterial properties that can assist in fading acne scars and dark spots. Additionally, it has moisturizing abilities, leaving your skin softer. Simply dab a bit of honey directly onto the scar in the evening before bed and wash your face clean in the morning.

Apply Rosehip Oil. Rosehip oil is rich in vitamins and antioxidants that help make your skin look smoother and healthier. While researchers are still evaluating the effects of applying rosehip oil directly to fresh acne lesions, it has been proven to be effective in treating acne scars as well as other types of scars and dark spots on the skin. With regular use, dark spots and acne scars will gradually fade and become less noticeable. Simply massage the oil onto the scarred area once or twice a day.

Use Coconut Oil. Coconut oil, which contains lauric, caprylic, and capric acids, is an excellent tool for fading acne scars. It also helps prevent new acne scars from forming.
