Features of search on related music sites

SoundCloud. SoundCloud supports both English and Vietnamese for direct searches on its platform, without using the Creative Commons search tool. However, when searching for songs and music on SoundCloud through the Creative Commons search page in Vietnamese, it is not supported. That said, when the results are displayed on SoundCloud's page, you can easily navigate to SoundCloud's own search tool.

Jamendo. Currently, Jamendo only supports search in English. When searching for music on Jamendo through the Creative Commons search page, you will not be able to use features such as filtering by preset categories like music genres (genre), instruments (instrument), or playlists (playlists). The results will be displayed within Jamendo’s own search tool. However, once on Jamendo's site, you can easily access its filtering features.

digccMixter. Similar to Jamendo, digccMixter currently only supports searches in English. When searching for music on ccMixter and/or digccMixter through the Creative Commons search page, you will not be able to use other search methods like filtering by preset categories such as music genres (genre), instruments (instrument), or musical styles (style). Additionally, you cannot search by tags on digccMixter. The results will be displayed on ccMixter, not digccMixter. However, once you're on the ccMixter site, you can easily navigate to digccMixter and/or use digccMixter's search tools or other search methods.
Searching for music on related sites through the Creative Commons search page
General Guidelines. Assuming that the license checkboxes on the Creative Commons search page are selected, the results will correspond to music files that are: (1) available for commercial use, and (2) modifiable, adaptable, or allow the creation of derivative works based on the original content. However, as mentioned in the Creative Commons search page's limitations above, you should always verify the license of each selected file before downloading to ensure full compliance with the open license terms and conditions, and to avoid any copyright violations.

Recommendation
- You might want to consider using Creative Commons as your central hub for searching open-licensed resources, but it's also important to understand its limitations so that when needed, you can utilize other search functions available on the individual sites featured within Creative Commons search.
