This article will guide you on how to discover Telegram channels on your iPhone or iPad using Telegram Bots or websites that host Telegram channels. Currently, there is no official list or method for finding Telegram channels. All Bots and websites hosting Telegram channels are third-party and are not affiliated with Telegram.
Steps
Using Channel Bot
Open Telegram. The app, featuring a white paper airplane icon on a light blue background, is usually located on the home screen.
- Log in with your phone number if you are not automatically signed in.
Tap on the search bar at the top.
Type tchannelsbot into the search bar. The search results will filter as you type.
Tap on the result "Telegram Channels Bot". If you entered the correct search term, this will be the only result at the top. It is the channel named "@tchannelsbot" below.
Tap on Start. This button is located at the bottom of the screen.
- If you don’t see this option, you can type /start into the message bar at the bottom and then tap the blue "send" arrow above the keyboard.
Tap on an option. You can select any button on the screen, such as:
- Top Chart: displays the most popular channels.
- Recent: shows a list of recently created channels.
- By Category: displays all channel categories.
- Search: allows you to search for channels.
Open a channel. Search for the channel you want to join, then tap on its link.
Tap on ＋ Join. This join button is located at the bottom of the channel. You are now a member of the channel.
Using a website hosting channels
Open a web browser. Launch Safari, Google Chrome, or any other preferred browser on your iPhone.
Visit a website hosting Telegram channels. You can search for "Telegram channel list" or a similar keyword on Google, or visit the following Telegram channel hosting site.
Search for topics that interest you. Many Telegram channel hosting sites feature categories such as gaming, movies, television, and more. Most of these sites also include a search bar for convenience.
Open a channel. Select a channel, then:
- Tap on Add to.
- Tap the plus icon + (https://tlgrm.eu/channels).
Tap on + Join. This join button is located at the bottom of the Telegram channel. You are now a member of the channel.
Using a channel search website
Open a web browser. Launch the browser you find most convenient.
Visit a website that allows you to browse Telegram channels, groups, and messages. You can access this link:
Enter keywords related to your desired topic. The process is similar to other search engines. For example, if you want to find channels and groups related to food, use the search bar and type "food," "recipes for dinner," or "best breakfast," etc.
Open a channel. Select your preferred channel and tap on its name. This will automatically open the channel in the Telegram app on your phone.
Tap on + Join. This join button is located at the bottom of the screen. You are now subscribed to the channel.
