This guide will show you how to search for all your posts on Facebook using keywords and filter them by their posting dates.
Steps
View All Posts

Go to the Facebook.com website using your browser.
- If you’re not logged in yet, enter your email address or phone number along with your password to sign in.

Click on the search box. It is located on the blue bar at the top of your screen.

Type a keyword in the search box. This allows you to search for people, posts, and images.

Press the ↵ Enter key on your keyboard. This action will search and display all matching results, including groups, images, people, and pages.

Click on the Posts tab. This tab is located next to the All tab below the search bar at the top of the page. All public posts and posts from your friends matching your search keyword will be shown.

Select a date under the DATE POSTED section. You'll find this section on the left sidebar of the screen, then choose a date to view the list of older posts.
Search for the articles you've liked

Open the Facebook.com page in your browser.
- If you're not logged in yet, sign in with your Facebook account. You'll need to provide your email address or phone number along with your password.

Visit your personal profile page. You can click your name next to the Home button on the top navigation bar, or click on your name in the left-hand side menu.

Click on the View Activity Log button. You’ll find this button at the bottom-right corner of your cover photo.

Click on the Activity Search field. This search box is located at the top of the Activity Log page, separate from Facebook's regular search bar. Here, you can search through all your activities including posts, likes, comments, events, and profile updates.

Enter the search keyword you remember from the post.
- Short keywords will provide more search results.

Press the ↵ Enter key on your keyboard. This action will search and display all activities matching your search keyword, including posts you've made, posts you're tagged in, posts by others, and posts hidden from your timeline.

Scroll down to find older posts. The Activity Log is displayed in chronological order, from newest to oldest, so you can find older posts as you scroll down.
Tip
- You can use the navigation menu on the left side of the Activity Log to filter search results and choose to display only your posts, posts you're tagged in, posts by others, or posts hidden from your timeline.
