How to Get a Girlfriend in GTA 5

Head to the Vanilla Unicorn strip club. Unlike in GTA IV, the only way to get a "girlfriend" in GTA V is by interacting with one of the strippers (NPCs, or non-playable characters) at the Vanilla Unicorn. You can find the Vanilla Unicorn next to the Olympic Freeway in the Strawberry district of Los Santos.

• The Vanilla Unicorn is marked by a high-heel shoe icon on your mini-map.

Approach a woman. Look for a woman in the club you want to talk to and walk up to her. When you get close enough, she will ask if you want a private dance.

Accept the dance. When prompted, press the key or button displayed on the screen to accept the woman's private dance.

• The private dance costs $40 in-game. If you have less than $40, you won't be asked to accept the dance.

Use the "Touch" and "Flirt" options. When the bouncer isn't watching, hold the "Touch" key or button to start filling the "Like" bar. If the bouncer is watching, you can repeatedly press the "Flirt" key or button to slightly increase the progress of the "Like" bar.

• Always use the "Touch" option whenever the bouncer isn't looking.

Avoid the bouncer. The bouncer will occasionally walk by, stop, turn around, and look into the private room for a few seconds before leaving. Make sure you don't use the "Touch" option while the bouncer is watching.

• If the bouncer catches you using the "Touch" option three times, you'll be thrown out of the club, meaning you'll have to re-enter and try again.

Fill the "Like" bar before the dance ends. If you manage to fill the bar before the dance concludes, the woman will suggest going home with you.

• If you can't fill the "Like" bar, you can request another dance and try again.
• About 50% of the NPCs in the strip club will make this offer. If nothing happens, try watching another dance or interacting with a different NPC.

Select Go home with [girl's name] when prompted. After the dance ends, you'll see this option if you successfully filled the "Like" bar in time. Press the corresponding key or button to accept the invitation to go home together.

Wait for the woman behind the club. After agreeing to go home together, the woman will meet you at the back of the club. Drive around and park behind the club, then wait for her to appear.

Follow the route to her house. The GPS (Global Positioning System) will automatically guide you to her home. Simply follow the directions on the mini-map to reach the destination.

• If you get into a fight, the woman might flee from the car, but reckless driving won't affect her decision to stay.

Enter the house. Once your character goes inside, the game camera will remain outside, and a time-lapse sequence will begin, showing your character and the woman sleeping together.

Call your "girlfriend" anytime. After the scene ends, you'll receive a notification that a new contact has been added to your phone. You can call this number anytime to meet up with her again.

• Once added, the woman's number cannot be removed or lost.
• Technically, you can't do anything else with her (like going on dates) except meeting her in the same way as before.

• Later in the game, you can purchase the strip club as Trevor. Once you own it, you can freely interact with the dancers without being thrown out.
• You can request another dance after filling the "Like" bar, which might prompt the NPC to suggest going home with you.
• Wearing a suit increases your chances of being invited home.
• You can take the following women home: Juliet, Nikki, Infernus, Sapphire, Ursula, and Liz.

• You may need to try the above method with multiple NPCs before finding one willing to go home with you.
• You cannot take your girlfriend on dates.
