This article serves as a guide to hacking the login section of Windows or Mac computers, along with instructions on using TeamViewer to remotely control another computer.
Steps
Bypassing the Login Screen on Windows

Understanding the outcome. While Windows 10 prevents users from exploiting the Administrator account as in previous versions, you can still use the Windows 10 installation program and Command Prompt to create a new user account with admin privileges, granting access to the main account’s files and directories.
Tip: While you can't change the password of the main account, you can still access, edit, and copy nearly everything from it.

Create a Windows 10 installation tool. Ensure you have a blank USB with at least 8GB of storage and follow these steps:
- Plug the USB into the computer.
- Visit the Windows 10 download page.
- Click on Download tool now.
- Double-click the downloaded tool.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, making sure to select the USB drive as the installation destination.
- Do not remove the USB until the creation process is complete.

Change the boot order of your computer. This step is crucial to make the computer boot from the USB instead of the hard drive:
- Access your computer's BIOS.
- Look for the "Boot Order" section under the Boot or Advanced tab.
- Select the USB drive, then press + (or the "Up" key, as indicated in the instructions on the side or bottom of the screen) until the USB appears at the top of the list.
- Save and exit using the keys listed in the instructions on the side or bottom of the screen.

Open Command Prompt. Press ⇧ Shift+F10 on the installation screen. The Command Prompt window will open immediately.
Replace Utility Manager with Command Prompt. The Utility Manager is a service that appears on the lock screen. By replacing it with Command Prompt, you can execute admin functions without needing to log in:
- Enter move c:\windows\system32\utilman.exe c:\windows\system32\utilman.exe.bak in Command Prompt.
- Press ↵ Enter
- Type copy c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe c:\windows\system32\utilman.exe in Command Prompt.
- Press ↵ Enter

Restart the computer. Type wpeutil reboot in Command Prompt, then press ↵ Enter. You must remove the installation media from the computer to ensure that Windows boots to the login screen instead of the setup screen.
- If Windows boots into the setup process before you remove the USB, simply eject the USB and press (or hold) the power button.

Open Command Prompt. When the lock screen appears, click on the "Utility Manager" icon, a circle with a right arrow in the bottom right corner of the screen. The Command Prompt window will open immediately.
- If you haven't replaced the Utility Manager with Command Prompt, clicking this icon will open the Utility Manager instead.

Create a new user. Once the Command Prompt is open, follow these steps:
- Type net user name /add, replacing "name" with your desired username.
- Press ↵ Enter.
- Next, type net localgroup administrators name /add, replacing "name" with the newly created username.
- Press ↵ Enter.
Restart
Log in with the new user account. Once Windows has completed the reboot, use the newly created account to log in:
- Select the new username at the bottom left of the screen.
- Click on Sign In.
- Wait for Windows to finish setting up the new user account.
View the files of the main account.
⊞ Win+EBypass the login screen on Mac

Understand the limitations. While you can follow the steps below to bypass the login on most Macs, some Mac users may need to enable FileVault and/or a firmware password to access their Mac without a password.
- Remember, Mac users will be notified when someone accesses their computer due to the password change.
Restart the Mac.RestartApple menu
Restart...RestartPress and hold the ⌘ Command key along with the R. Do this immediately after clicking Restart.

Release the keys once you see the Apple logo. This instructs the Mac to boot into recovery mode.

Click on →. This is the button at the bottom of the screen.

Click on Utilities (Utilities). This menu is located at the top of your screen. A drop-down menu will appear after you click it.

Click on Terminal. This option is available in the currently open menu. A Terminal window will open once you select it.

Enter the command to reset the password. Type resetpassword and press ⏎ Return to proceed. A few Terminal commands will execute, and the password reset page will appear on the screen.

Close the Terminal. Once you see the password reset page appear on the screen, click the red circle in the upper left corner of the Terminal window to close it.

Select the user. Click on the account name of the user you want to hack, then click Next (Continue) at the bottom of the window to proceed.

Create a new password. You will need to fill in the following fields:
- New password — Enter your new password.
- Verify password — Re-enter your password to confirm it.
- Password hint — Add a hint for your password to help you remember it.

Click on Next. This option is located at the bottom of the screen.

Click on Restart (Restart). This option is found at the bottom of the screen. Your Mac will reboot automatically after this action, and once the reboot is complete, you will be taken to the login screen.

Log in with your new password. In the password field below your selected username, enter your new password, and then press ⏎ Return.

Click on Continue Log In when prompted. This step allows you to continue logging in without setting up a new Keychain.

Browse the Mac as needed. Since this is an existing user account on the computer, you should encounter no issues with operation, as long as the user has administrator privileges.
Note: This password will differ from the previous one associated with the existing user account, so they will not be able to log in using their old credentials.
Remote hack using TeamViewer

Learn about this method. If you’ve previously accessed the target computer at some point and want to continue remote access whenever it’s turned on, you can use TeamViewer to do so.

Create a TeamViewer account. You need to do this to enable certain features on the target computer:
- Go to https://www.teamviewer.us/ using the computer’s web browser.
- Click on LOGIN.
- Scroll down and click on Sign Up at the bottom left corner.
- Enter your email address, name, and optional password in the form on the left side of the page.
- It’s best to use a new email address that has no prior associations with you when doing this.
- Check the box that says "I'm not a robot".
- Click on Sign Up.
- Verify your email address by opening your inbox, clicking on the email sent by TeamViewer, and following the long link in the middle of the email content.

Install TeamViewer on both computers. Visit https://www.teamviewer.us/downloads/ on the browser of each computer, click Download now, double-click the downloaded file, and follow these steps:
- Windows — Check the box labeled "Installation to access this computer remotely", select "Personal / Non-commercial use", uncheck "Show advanced settings" if necessary, click Accept - finish, and click Yes when prompted.
- Mac — Double-click the square icon in the center of the TeamViewer window, then follow the on-screen instructions. You may need to reset your Mac password if you don’t know it, as you will be asked for it during installation.

Open TeamViewer on your computer. Double-click the blue and white TeamViewer application to do so.

Install TeamViewer. Follow these steps:
- Close the "Unattended setup" window when prompted by clicking Cancel.
- If possible, click the Try it now button at the top of the window.

Check the "Remote control" box on the right side of the window. This ensures you can use your computer to access the target computer.

Open TeamViewer on the target computer. Double-click the TeamViewer application to proceed.

Set up TeamViewer on the target computer for easy access. Follow the steps under the "Unattended Access" heading:
- Check the box labeled "Start TeamViewer".
- Check the box labeled "Assign to Device".
- Enter the email address and password when prompted, then click Assign.
- Check the box labeled "Grant Easy Access".

View the target computer's ID and password. On the left side of the TeamViewer window of the target computer, you’ll find the "ID" number and the "password" or a randomly generated string. You need both pieces of information to access the computer.

Connect your computer to the target computer. Enter the target computer's ID into the "Partner ID" field, click CONNECT, enter the password when prompted, and click Log On. This allows you to remotely access the target computer at any time.
- Since the target computer has been set up to allow you to access it at any time, you won’t need to touch the computer again after the TeamViewer installation and setup.
Tip: Now you can control the computer and have the ability to move files and folders, shut down the system, etc.)
Tip
- While most modern hacking methods require direct interaction with the target computer, there are still some techniques that involve sending malware through email to exploit vulnerabilities on the machine.
Warning
- Accessing a computer without the owner's consent is illegal and can lead to expulsion, fines, or even imprisonment.
