Today, Mytour will show you how to visually inspect the HTML source code of any website using Google Chrome on your computer.
Steps

Open Google Chrome on your computer. The Chrome app has a colorful globe icon with a green dot in the center. You can find it in the Applications folder on Mac or in the Start menu on Windows.

Click on the three vertical dots icon. This button is located next to the address bar in the top right corner of the browser window. A dropdown menu will appear.

Hover over the More Tools option in the dropdown menu. A sub-menu will appear.

Click on the Developer Tools option in the More Tools dropdown. The Inspector column will appear on the right side of the browser window.
- Alternatively, you can open the Inspector window using a keyboard shortcut. Press ⌥ Option+⌘ Cmd+I on a Mac or Ctrl+Alt+I on Windows.

Hover over any element in the Inspector column. When you hover over an element or line in the Inspector window, that element will be highlighted on the webpage.

Right-click on the element you want to inspect on the webpage. A context menu will appear in the dropdown box.

Select the Inspect option from the dropdown. The Inspector column will scroll to the selected element and highlight the source code for that content.
- You don't need to have the Inspector column open for this. Selecting Inspect from the right-click menu will automatically open the Inspector tool.
