This Mytour article provides a guide on how to add mods (modifications) to your Minecraft PE world on your tablet or smartphone (Android/iPhone). Keep in mind that due to software and hardware limitations, mods available for Minecraft PE are often less impressive compared to the PC version.
Steps
On iPhone

App Store- Tap Search.
- Tap the search bar at the top of the screen.
- Type mcpe addons in the search bar.
- Tap Search again.

- Enter your password or use Touch ID when prompted.

Open MCPE Addons. Tap OPEN in the App Store, or tap the MCPE Addons app icon on your iPhone's Home screen.
Search for the mod.Search

Choose your favorite mod. Once you've found the mod you want to download, tap to open its page.

Tap the DOWNLOAD (Download) button. This orange button is located below the mod's thumbnail. You will be directed to an advertisement page.
- If there are multiple DOWNLOAD buttons, it means the mod requires several downloads, so you will need to repeat the installation steps for each button after completing the first download.

Close the ad when possible. Once the countdown timer disappears from the top-left or top-right corner of the screen, tap X at the top-right or top-left corner. You will be redirected to the mod page.

Tap the INSTALL (Install) button. This purple button is located in the same position as the orange DOWNLOAD button. A pop-up menu will appear at the bottom of the screen.
- If the file contains multiple INSTALL buttons, return to the app after completing the first installation and repeat these steps for the other files.

Tap Copy to Minecraft (Copy to Minecraft). The Minecraft game icon will appear in the pop-up menu. This step will open both Minecraft and the mod inside Minecraft.
- You may need to swipe right (left swipe) on the top option bar in the pop-up menu to see the Minecraft game icon.
- If the Minecraft game icon doesn't appear in the menu, swipe right again, tap More and then tap the white switch next to Minecraft.

Wait for the mod to be installed. Once you see "Import Completed" or "Import Successful" at the top of the screen, you can proceed.
- If there are multiple INSTALL buttons, double-tap the Home button, select the MCPE Addons option, tap the next INSTALL button, and repeat the installation steps.

Create a new world. After installation, you can open the mod in a new world by following these steps:
- Tap Play.
- Tap Create New.
- Tap Create New World.
- Scroll down to the Resource Packs or Behavior Packs section on the left side of the screen.
- Select Resource Packs or Behavior Packs.
- Choose the mod, then tap the + button below.
- Tap Create.
On Android
Download the Inner Core app.
Google Play Store- Tap the search bar.
- Type inner core into the search bar.
- Tap Inner Core - Minecraft PE Mods in the search results.
- Tap INSTALL.
- Tap ACCEPT.

Open Inner Core. After successfully downloading the app, tap OPEN in Google Play Store, or tap the Inner Core app icon. A Minecraft version will open up.

Tap Mod Browser. This button is located at the bottom right of the Minecraft menu. You will see a list of available mods.

Choose a mod. Once you find a mod that looks interesting, tap to open its page.
- Unfortunately, many mods only have descriptions in Russian, so you may need to try the mod before deciding whether to keep it or not.

Tap Install. This link is located in the center of the mod window.

Tap Yes when prompted. Once tapped, the mod installation will begin.

Wait for the mod installation. Depending on the mod and your internet connection, this process can take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes.

Close and reopen Inner Core. After the mod installation is complete, you’ll be prompted to open Inner Core again to fully load the mod.

Create a new world. Once Minecraft has loaded, tap Play, then tap Create New, followed by Create New World, and tap Play again. Your mod will automatically apply to the current world.
- If you wish to remove the mod, go to the Inner Core menu in the main Minecraft PE screen, tap the gear icon next to the mod, and select Delete.
Tips
- Some mods will add custom structures to your Minecraft world, while others may significantly alter the world or even the entire game by introducing new items (e.g., guns or vehicles) that do not exist in the base game.
Warning
- When using Inner Core on Android, the application load time may vary depending on the number of mods you have installed.
- Mods available for Minecraft PE usually do not have the same impact as their PC counterparts.
