ElvUI is a custom user interface designed specifically for the World of Warcraft game, aimed at enhancing the player's experience by offering upgrades, configurations, and customization options for the current version of WoW. To install ElvUI, you must first download the interface from the developer's website and then move the files into the 'Add-ons' folder within WoW on your computer.
Steps
Installing ElvUI

Visit the official ElvUI download page at https://www.tukui.org/download.php?ui=elvui. ElvUI is a free interface made available to all WoW players by members of the Tukui WoW community.

Click the “Download” button below ElvUI, then choose to save the .zip file to your Desktop.

Go to your Desktop and double-click the ElvUI .zip file to extract its contents.

Open the “World of Warcraft” folder on your computer using File Explorer on Windows or Finder on Mac OS X.

Access the “Interface” folder, then enter the “Add-ons” folder.

Return to the Desktop and copy the extracted folders named “ElvUI” and “ElvUI_Config” from the .zip file.

Paste these files into the “Add-ons” folder inside your WoW directory.

Launch the WoW game, then navigate to the character selection screen.

Select “Add-ons,” then choose “ElvUI” from the list.

Click the option to start playing. You can now follow the in-game instructions from ElvUI while playing to enhance your WoW experience.
Troubleshooting ElvUI installation issues

Consider using the Tukui Windows Client instead of the Curse Client if you're adding ElvUI to WoW. The Tukui Windows Client is specifically designed for managing add-ons downloaded from the Tukui website, whereas Curse Client no longer fully supports Tukui add-ons.

Visit the ElvUI download page at https://www.tukui.org/download.php?ui=elvui and download the latest version of ElvUI if the interface shows signs of malfunction. In some cases, ElvUI may experience issues if the version of the software is outdated or incompatible.
Ensure that the ElvUI file is not placed within any subfolder inside the WoW “Add-ons” folder. If you put the ElvUI file into a subfolder, it might cause issues with the add-on while playing WoW.

Make sure to extract the ElvUI file before attempting to move it to the WoW folder on your computer. If your computer lacks a default extraction tool, consider downloading WinZip, WinRar, or 7zip for Windows, or The Unarchiver or StuffIt for Mac OS X.

Exit and restart WoW if ElvUI is not appearing in the “Add-ons” menu. WoW generally won't recognize add-on changes until the game has been closed and reopened.
