To join a Google Classroom, you need to log into Chrome using your student credentials. Once logged in, you can access the classroom by entering the code provided by the teacher. If you're a teacher, you can invite students directly from the class page. Today, Mytour will guide you through the process of logging into Google Classroom, joining a class as a student, and inviting students if you are a teacher.
Steps
Log into Google Classroom

Open Google Chrome. To log into Google Classroom, you need to use Google's official browser.

Click the + icon to open a new tab. This button is located next to the currently open tabs at the top of the Chrome window. By doing this, you'll be able to access the Google Chrome login menu. Click the "New Tab" button right next to your active tab.

Log into Google Chrome. If you aren't already logged in with your school account, click the name (or user icon) in the top-right corner of the Chrome interface to log in. Use your school’s username/email address (for example: "[email protected]") and then click Sign in to Chrome to proceed.

Visit https://classroom.google.com. You can do this by typing the URL in the top Chrome address bar and pressing ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return.

- Teachers will be taken to the page listing all of their current classes.
- If it's your first time using Google Classroom, select your Google account when prompted, click the CONTINUE button in blue, and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.
Join the Class

Visit https://classroom.google.com to access the Google Classroom page.

Click the Join class option from the menu. You will be prompted to enter the class code.

Enter the class code and click Join. Your teacher will provide you with the code when the class is set up. After joining, the class homepage will be displayed.
- If you don't have the code, check your school email. You can also contact your teacher or refer to the class syllabus.

View the class page. All the information your teacher wants you to see will be displayed here.

- By default, the page will open the Stream tab, which consolidates posts from both your teacher and fellow students.
- Click the Classwork tab at the top of the page to see detailed assignments.
- The People tab, located immediately to the right of the "Classwork" tab, will show a list of students. You can use it to find and contact classmates for group assignments.

Advice
- It’s recommended to familiarize yourself with the layout of Google Classroom before officially starting. As a teacher, you should send invitations on Google Classroom in advance to prepare for the new school year.
Warning
- Avoid clicking the browser's back button as this could undo the process or cause the system to malfunction.
