In this guide, Mytour will show you how to stream music on multiple Alexa devices placed throughout your home. After setting up all devices on the Alexa app, you can use voice commands (in English) to play music in different rooms. This feature currently works with Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Show speakers. Note: music can only play across the multi-room group. Timers, alarms, daily news, and audiobooks can only play on a single device.
Steps

Ensure your Alexa devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. All Echo devices need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network to enable multi-room functionality.
- If you have a dual-band router, ensure all devices are connected to the same band. Dual-band routers typically broadcast two different networks, often labeled "5 GHz" and "2.4 GHz". Connect all devices to the 5 GHz band if possible.

Open the Alexa app. On your Android or iOS device, launch the Alexa mobile app and sign in to your Amazon account. The app has a light blue icon with a white speech bubble outline inside.
- You need to log in with the same Amazon account you used to register your Alexa devices.

Click on the button ☰ at the top left corner. A menu will pop out from the left side of the screen.

Click on Settings near the bottom of the menu.

Click on Multi-Room Music (Multiple Rooms Audio). This option is located in the "Audio Groups" section below the "Set up a New Device" button, which is highlighted in blue.

Click on Create Group (Create Group). This button is blue in color.

Select a group name. You can choose the default name from the dropdown menu, or enter a custom name by selecting "Custom".

Select the Echo device you want to add to the group and click Create Group. Once the device is selected, a checkmark will appear in the corresponding box. After clicking the blue "Create Group" button at the bottom, the group for your selected devices will be created. It may take a few minutes for the app to save this group and apply the changes to the devices.

Play music in the group you just created. In any room with one of the Echo speakers, simply say the artist, song, or genre along with the group name to play music.

Repeat these steps to create more groups. For example, you can create groups like "Downstairs" and "Upstairs," or even a larger group called "Everywhere."
Tips
- Bluetooth does not work with Alexa devices when they are in Multi-Room Mode.
- Since voice control with Alexa only works via Bluetooth, you won't be able to issue voice commands while Multi-Room Mode is active.
- Multi-Room Music is currently not supported on third-party Echo devices like the Eufy Genie.
