Today, Mytour will show you how to lock a Discord channel on your PC or Mac. Locking a channel will prevent anyone else on the server from using it in any way.
Steps

Open Discord on your PC or Mac. You can do this through a web browser by logging into https://discord.com. If you have the desktop app installed, you can find it in the All Apps section of the Windows menu (Windows) or the Applications folder (macOS).
- You must be an administrator or have the corresponding permissions to lock the channel.

Click on the server hosting the channel. The server list is located on the left side of Discord.

Click the gear icon next to the channel you want to lock. The gear icon will only appear when you hover over the channel name in the list. A menu will pop up.

Click on Permissions. This is the second option in the menu.

Click on @everyone. This option is located under the “Roles/Members” heading in the top center of the screen. The permissions for the channel for all users on the server will appear.

Click the X next to each permission. Each red “X” indicates that members on the server will no longer have access to the channel in that way.

Click on Save Changes. This green button is located at the bottom of the screen. The channel will be locked immediately and no one on the server will be able to access it.
