This guide will show you how to watch YouTube videos on loop. You can achieve this by accessing YouTube on a computer. For iPhone users, create a new playlist containing only that specific video. Android users can access the desktop version of YouTube via the Chrome browser to enable the loop option.
Steps
On a Computer

Open YouTube. Visit https://www.youtube.com using your browser to access the YouTube homepage.
- Logging in is unnecessary unless you want to view content restricted to users aged 18 and above.
- If you need to log in, click on SIGN IN at the top right corner of the page, then enter your email address and password.

Search for the video. Enter the video title or search keywords into the search bar at the top of the YouTube homepage, then press ↵ Enter.

Select the video. On the search results page, click on the video you want to loop.

Right-click on the video window. This action opens a context menu. Make sure to click on the video itself, not the ad section.
- If your computer mouse doesn’t have a right-click button, such as a Mac’s Magic Mouse, click on the right edge of the mouse or use a two-finger click.
- If your computer uses a trackpad instead of a mouse, use two fingers to click on the trackpad or click the bottom-right corner of the trackpad to perform a right-click action.

Click on Loop in the displayed menu. You’ll see a checkmark appear next to the Loop option before the menu disappears; from now on, the selected video will automatically repeat until you stop the video or disable the loop mode.
On iPhone

Understand how this method works. The YouTube app and website on iPhone do not support the video loop feature. Additionally, there are no reliable free apps that allow you to loop videos. However, you can repeat a video by creating a new playlist containing only that specific video.

Open YouTube. Tap on the YouTube app with the white triangle icon on a red background.
- If you’re not logged in, tap on the profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen, select SIGN IN, and enter your email address and password.
Search for the video.

Select the video. Tap to open the video you want to loop.

Tap on Add to below the video window. A menu will appear on the screen.

Tap on Create new playlist at the top of the menu to open a new page.

Name your playlist. Enter a name for your playlist in the text field at the top of the screen.

Tap on ✓ in the top-right corner of the screen to save the playlist.

Tap on Library. This is the folder icon at the bottom of the screen. A menu will appear after tapping this option.

Scroll down and select your playlist. Tap on the playlist name under the "Playlists" section near the bottom of the menu. This will open the playlist.
- If you don’t see your playlist here, tap on Playlists (Recently added) and select A-Z from the displayed menu.

Tap the Play button. This is the red circular button with a white triangle inside. This action will start playing the single video in your playlist.
Open the playlist options menu.

Tap the "Loop" icon. This is the triangular icon made up of two arrows, located in the top-left corner of the options. The icon will turn white when selected.

Close the menu. Tap the upward-pointing triangle icon to close the menu. From now on, your video will play on a loop automatically.
On Android

Access YouTube. Tap on the Chrome address bar at the top of the screen, then type youtube.com and press Enter or Go on the keyboard.

Tap on ⋮ at the top-right corner of the YouTube page. This will open a menu.
- Do not confuse this icon with the similar one at the top-right corner of the Chrome browser.

Tap on Desktop at the bottom of the menu. This will load the desktop version of YouTube.
- If prompted to choose a browser, tap on Chrome and select Desktop again.
- Chrome might suggest opening YouTube in the app instead of the browser. In this case, ignore the suggestion and dismiss it.

Search for the video. Tap on the search bar near the top of the YouTube page, enter the search keywords or video title, and press Enter or Go on Android.

Select the video. Tap on the video you want to watch from the search results list.

Tap and hold the video window. This action will open a list of options.

Tap on Loop in the menu. The selected video will now play on repeat until you stop the video or disable the loop mode.
Tips
- The YouTube app on phones and the mobile version of the YouTube website do not support the video loop feature on any platform.
Warnings
- Avoid paid apps that claim to offer video looping features. Many apps appear professional but fail to deliver the ability to loop YouTube videos.
