You can chat with three or more people at the same time using Skype's conference call feature. This is a useful tool when people need to communicate together but cannot meet in person, as well as for keeping in touch with family or friends from different locations. Conference calls on Skype are available on computers (PC), Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Android platforms.
Steps
On PC or Mac

Make sure your internet connection is stable. Group calls require high-speed internet, so a stable connection is crucial. If you're connected through a router and the speed is slow, consider using an Ethernet cable to plug your computer directly into the router's Ethernet port for a more reliable connection.

Launch Skype.

Log in to Skype using your username and password.

Click on a recent conversation or a contact's name. The appropriate chat will open, allowing you to add more people if needed.
- You can also click the '+' icon in the toolbar above 'Contacts' and 'Recent' to create a new group.

Click on the person icon with a plus sign at the top-right corner of your current conversation. A menu will appear allowing you to add members to the group chat.

Select people from your contact list to add to the group. You can also search for specific individuals by typing their name.
- If you're already in a chat with someone, adding them to a larger group will bring in other contacts from the list into the current conversation.

Add as many contacts as you like. Skype can support up to 25 participants (including yourself) in a voice call.
- For video calls, only up to 10 people can appear on screen.

Click the "call" or "video call" button to start the conference call. Skype will begin dialing all group members.

Once the conversation is over, click the red phone button to end the call. Congratulations, you’ve successfully made a Skype conference call!
On iPhone or iPad

Open Skype.
- If you haven't installed Skype yet, you need to do so (the app is available and free on the Apple Store).

Sign in using your Skype username and password. This is the same Skype account you use on your computer.

Click the "+" icon in the top-right corner of the screen to create a group for your call.

Select names to add contacts to your group. These people will automatically be added to your list.
- You can add up to 25 people (including yourself) to the group call, but only 6 people can appear on video.
- You can also add people to the current call by clicking the group name at the top of the screen, selecting "Add Participants" from the next menu, and adding people from your contacts list.

Click the "call" button in the top-right corner of the group screen. Skype will begin dialing the group.
- You can also click the video camera icon to make a video call.

When the conversation is over, click the red phone button to hang up. Congratulations, you’ve successfully completed your Skype conference call!
On Android

Open Skype.
- If you haven't installed Skype yet, you'll need to do so (the app is available and free on the Google Play Store).

Log in with your Skype username and password. This is the Skype account you use on your computer.

Tap the "+" icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen. The call menu will open.

Select "Voice Call". Your contacts list will appear, allowing you to find specific people to call.

- You can use the same Skype account on both your computer and phone without any additional charges.
- Skype supports cross-platform calls, meaning Skype users on Android can call Skype users on iPhone and vice versa.
Warning
- You may encounter technical issues (such as failed calls) if someone in the group using a mobile device hasn't updated their Skype version.
