Steps
Brewing Hot Ginger Tea

- You can find fresh ginger at most grocery stores or local markets.
- Covering the pot with a lid will help the water boil faster.
- Remember, the ginger flavor needs to infuse into the water for the tea to be effective.
- Double or triple the ingredients if you want to make more tea at once. Store unused ginger tea in the refrigerator. Reheat in the microwave for at least 30 seconds before drinking.
- Ginger tea tastes best when consumed within a day.
Did you know? For a quicker hot ginger tea, you can microwave a cup of ginger beer for about 2 minutes, then add a black tea bag and steep it according to the instructions on the tea box.
You can also make a simple ginger tea by adding 1.5 teaspoons (3g) of grated ginger to a cup and pouring 350 ml of boiling water over it.
Brewing Ginger - Turmeric Tea

- Bubbles and steam will appear when the water reaches boiling point.
- Use fresh ginger for a more intense flavor.

- Steep for 15 minutes if you prefer a bolder tea.
- For a creamier taste, try adding 1-2 tablespoons (15-30 ml) of milk.
Brewing Ginger Tea with Honey and Lemon

- If you don’t have a kettle, you can heat water in the microwave.
- If you have powdered supplements to add, consider dissolving them in the cup.
- For sweetness, add 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of honey. Ensure it’s fully dissolved before drinking.
Tip: Pour the remaining ginger tea into a jar for later use. If you’re feeling nauseous or just want a quick sip later, you can store the tea in the refrigerator for up to a day.
