Want to make your phone more eye-catching? There are numerous easy, affordable, and quick ways to breathe new life into your iPhone or Android. These options range from adding cute accessories to changing up the home screen design. Today, Mytour will guide you on how to enhance your phone's aesthetic appeal.
Steps
Add Accessories to Your Phone

Use a Phone Case. A phone case can enhance the appearance of your device while also protecting it from physical damage. There are a wide variety of phone cases, so take a look online for the one that suits you best.
- Do you want a case that is both stylish and functional? Consider a shockproof phone case or one with a built-in charger. If you're more concerned with aesthetics and just want something visually appealing, you can browse through colorful, patterned cases that reflect your personality!
- Don't forget to add keywords for your phone model and style when searching for the perfect case.

Use a PopSocket. The plastic circle that sticks to the back of your phone, serving as both a stand and a convenient grip, is called a PopSocket. This accessory comes in various colors and designs, and you can coordinate the PopSocket with your phone case for a balanced look.

Attach a phone charm (strap). Recently, phone straps from the early 2000s have made a comeback. These straps can be attached to the phone case, adding a unique touch.

Add Stickers. Stickers are a great way to personalize your phone's back. Simply gather a few small stickers you love and stick them onto your phone case.
Set a Wallpaper

Choose a wallpaper. A wallpaper is a great way to personalize your phone. You can set different images for the lock screen and the home screen, so feel free to select two different images for each if you prefer. The lock screen is what you see before unlocking your phone, while the home screen is what appears afterward. We recommend searching your camera roll, Pinterest, or online to find an image that suits your style.

Save the image. Once you've found the image, don't forget to save it to your camera roll (if it’s not already there). You can do this by either taking a screenshot or downloading the image directly to your camera roll.

Set a wallpaper on Android phone. Go to Settings, select “Display” and then tap on “Wallpaper.” Next, choose “Gallery” and pick the image you want from your camera roll. Now, you’ll have three options: “Home screen,” “Lock screen,” or “Home screen and lock screen.”
- Repeat these steps to set different images for your home screen and lock screen.
- Additionally, your device may come with pre-installed wallpapers. To use one of these, select a different option instead of “Gallery.” The label for this option may vary depending on the Android version, but it is commonly labeled “Live Wallpapers,” “My Wallpapers,” or “Styles & Wallpapers.”

Set a wallpaper on iPhone. Go to Settings, tap “Wallpaper” and then select “Choose a New Wallpaper.” Pick an image from your camera roll categories (select “All Photos” to view everything) and tap the one you prefer. Then, hit the “Set” option in the bottom right corner and choose from one of three options: “Set Lock Screen,” “Set Home Screen,” or “Set Both.”
- Repeat this step if you want different wallpapers for your home and lock screens.
- To choose a pre-installed wallpaper on your device, tap “Dynamic” or “Stills” and select your preferred option.
Organize your apps

Create folders on iPhone. Grouping apps into different folders is a great way to tidy up your home screen. To do this, press and hold an app icon until it starts wiggling. Then, drag the icon over another app and release. A folder containing both apps will be created. Now, you can press and hold any app to drag it into this folder.

Create Folders on Android. First, navigate to the app drawer. Then, press and hold an app, drag it, and drop it onto the home screen. Go back to the app drawer, press and hold another app, and drag it onto the app you just added to the home screen. Once you release, a folder containing both apps will appear on the home screen.
- Some Android phones might not support creating folders via drag-and-drop. In such cases, press and hold the app, drag it to the 'Create Folder' icon in the top-left corner. Release and name the folder. Tap 'Done' or the enter arrow icon in the bottom-right corner to create the folder.

Renaming App Folders. Sometimes, folders are created based on the app type or even the color of the app icons inside the folder. You can rename them to highlight these distinctions. On iPhone, press and hold the folder icon, select 'Rename', type a new name, and tap 'Done' in the bottom-right corner. On Android, tap the folder, then tap its title. Enter a new title and hit 'Done' or the enter arrow icon in the bottom-right corner.

Organizing Apps by Color. Want to take your home screen aesthetics to a whole new level? Consider rearranging your apps by color, either in a rainbow order or whatever color scheme you prefer. To do this, press and hold any app, then drag and drop it to a new spot on the home screen. Repeat the process with all your apps until you're satisfied.
- On iPhone, tap 'Done' in the top-right corner after you've finished organizing.
- On Android, you may need to open the app drawer to find apps that are not on the home screen.
