Steps
Get Discount Codes from the Amazon Coupons Page
Visit http://www.amazon.com using your preferred web browser. You can use any web browser on your computer or mobile device to access Amazon's promotional offers.
- You can also use the Amazon mobile app to check out Today's Deals.
Log in to your Amazon account. Hover over the "Account & Lists" header and click Sign In. Enter your Amazon username and password in the respective fields, then click Sign in to proceed. You will be logged into your account and redirected to Amazon's homepage.
Click on Today's Deals. From the homepage, click the Today’s Deals link located in the horizontal menu below the search bar. You will be taken to the current deals page featuring ongoing promotions and discounts on Amazon.
- On mobile, the "Today's Deals" link is located in the ☰ menu.
- Check out the Gold Box and Lightning Deals on the first page. These are highly limited offers that last between 1 to 24 hours after being posted. Once you click “Add to Cart,” no promo code is required to receive the discount, as long as you purchase within the specified time frame.
Click on Coupons. This option is located in the horizontal submenu at the top of the page. You will be redirected to the Amazon Coupons page at http://www.amazon.com/Coupons if accessing via a phone or tablet. You need to use a mobile web browser as there is no way to find discount codes on the Amazon app.
- Discount codes are part of Amazon's special offers, such as percentage discounts or "buy one, get one" deals.
- Browse through the available coupons. Scroll through the page to view all current discount codes. There are many coupons for groceries, electronics, books, and more.
Click on Clip Coupon to add the discount code to your checkout page. Any coupons you collect will automatically be applied at checkout if the conditions are met (for example, if you clip a $3 discount for a Kindle tablet, add the eligible product to your cart).
- You can click on the coupon to view it. For most brand-specific coupons (like $3 off Sony products), all eligible items will appear. For other coupons tied to specific products, clicking the coupon will take you to the product page with a green promo code displayed next to the "Coupon" label.
Complete the checkout process. Verify that the promo code has been applied on the order summary page. If everything looks correct, proceed with the payment. If the discount code isn’t applied, you may not meet the promotion's requirements.
- Complete the purchase promptly after successfully applying the promo code. You might want to use the search bar to compare prices and ensure you’re getting a good deal, but remember that discount codes are often time-sensitive, so act quickly.
Collect Discount Codes from Websites
Visit sites like RetailMeNot, DealMeCoupon, Tech Bargains, Catch Promos, Deal Coupon, Current Codes, and Savings.com. It’s best to search and access these websites at the beginning of the month, as this is when new promo codes are typically released.
Enter “Amazon” into the search bar on the website.
Find the discount code you want to use. Browse through the websites and available codes to locate the deal you need; some sites organize discount codes into categories, ranging from "Electronics" to "Home Goods."
Evaluate the usability of the promo code. The expiration date and success rate will be displayed next to the discount code, allowing you to make an informed choice based on these factors.
Click the Use this Coupon or Activate button. Most websites will redirect you directly to Amazon since they earn advertising fees from this.
- The advantage of redirecting from coupon sites is that you don’t need to enter a promo code during checkout; however, you can also note the code displayed next to the offer and access Amazon through a separate browser window if preferred.
Visit Amazon.com. Add the desired product to your cart.
Activate the code. Enter the promo code into the field located below the total price in your cart. Click “Apply” to activate the code.
Complete the order and ship the product to a single address. Most promo codes do not allow shipping to multiple addresses.
Finalize the purchase.
Return to the coupon page you just visited. Here, you can evaluate the usability of the promo code.
