Files with the .draw.io extension can only be accessed and utilized on the dedicated draw.io website or application. This Mytour guide will walk you through the steps to open a .draw.io file.
Steps
Navigate to https://draw.io using your web browser. Any web browser can be used to open the available file.
- Log in if prompted. If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to sign up, which may grant you access to a 30-day free trial of the software.
Click on Open Existing Diagram. This option is located at the bottom of the menu and will open your file manager.
- If your draw.io file is stored in Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Github, etc., you can click on Not Device? to log in to these cloud storage services.
Locate and double-click on the file. It will open in your web browser.
- If you are already in a draw.io project file, click File > Open from and select the location where your file is stored.
