Today, Mytour will show you how to use the stand to play Nintendo Switch in handheld mode. You can detach the Joy-con controllers and use the stand to enjoy your Nintendo Switch without needing a TV.
Steps

Remove the Nintendo Switch from the dock. The dock is used for charging the Nintendo Switch and playing on a TV. To remove it, hold both sides and slide the console out of the slot.

Detach the Joy-con controllers. The Joy-con controllers are attached to the sides of the Nintendo Switch. To remove them, press and hold the small circular button near the ZL and ZR buttons on the back of the controller, then slide them upward to detach.

Attach the Joy-con straps. The Joy-con straps consist of flat pieces with two buttons and wrist straps. Locate the opening beneath the black strap via the gray sliding switch. The straps are engraved with "+" and "-" symbols at the top. Align the "+" or "-" markings on the strap with the corresponding "+" or "-" buttons on the controller, then slide the strap through the groove on the side of the Joy-con to attach it.
- To remove the Joy-con straps, push the gray switch at the bottom of the strap and slide it out.

Extend the stand. The stand is a thin plastic panel located on the back of the Nintendo Switch, which opens from the bottom of the device. You may need to use your finger or a flat tool to open the stand, then pull it out until you hear a click.

Place the Nintendo Switch on a stable surface. Once the stand is extended, the Nintendo Switch can stand on a solid surface like a table. Now, you can hold the Joy-con controllers with both hands and start enjoying your games.
- If there is no solid surface available, you can place the device on its carrying case.
