How to Overcome Level 76 of Candy Crush Saga

Take a moment to observe the board before you begin. Note that there are three distinct gameplay areas — two smaller sections on the left and one larger section on the right — separated by a teleportation line. Candies will appear in a predictable sequence as the game progresses:

• First, candies will spawn at the bottom-left of the board.
• Next, as some elements disappear, candies will move across the lower-left section to the right-side of the board.
• Finally, the candies will move through the top-left section before exiting the board entirely.
• Interestingly, the "bottom" section is actually located at the bottom-left corner of the top-left zone — quite confusing!

Understand that clearing candies causes the others to drop down. Since the number of moves is limited, it's essential to ensure every move counts. This means taking full advantage of teleportation to move ingredients towards the exit gate in the top-left corner.

• Clearing candies at the bottom-left will cause only the candies directly above them in the lower-left area to move.
• Clearing candies on the right will make only those above them in the right area and the candies in the bottom-left move.
• Clearing candies in the top-left will cause candies above them in the top-left, candies in the top-right, and candies in the bottom-left to move.
• Thus, connecting candies in the top-left area is often the most effective strategy to move ingredients closer to the exit.

Understand how special candies are influenced by teleportation. If you're unfamiliar with special candies and teleportation, you may need to consider a few important details for this level. Please review the following information:

• Striped and wrapped candies lose their effect after teleportation. In other words, if you clear a vertical striped candy in the bottom-left, it will affect candies in the left sections, but won’t impact the right side.
• Wrapped candies don’t typically fall through teleportation, unless the candies "underneath" them on the other side disappear for some reason. For example, clearing a wrapped candy in the bottom-right won’t make candies drop into the top-left area.
• Color bombs will behave as usual.

Focus on the second and third areas. You have only 33 moves in this level. That might seem like a lot, but if you’re not careful, you might quickly find yourself in a situation where only a few moves are left but there are still many ingredients to deal with. Fortunately, the areas on the right and especially the top-left side will move more candies than when you focus on the bottom-left, allowing you to make the most of each move.

• For example: If you spot a cherry in the bottom-left column of the lower-left area and there are no combos to create special candies, try clearing candies in the right-side rows or the top-left area to move the cherry closer to the exit.
• However, there are exceptions to this rule. For instance: Grabbing a special candy is always worth it, even if you can’t clear candies below your ingredient (especially if that special candy can clear one or more ingredients from the board).

Quickly bring ingredients to the exit to drop more ingredients. In most ingredient levels, new ingredients will appear on the board as the existing ones are cleared (although sometimes they drop seemingly randomly — the Candy Crush community still hasn't pinpointed exactly how new ingredients appear consistently). Level 76 is no exception. This means you'll have to decide whether to quickly clear each cherry — the next one won't appear until you've cleared the current one.

Use vertical striped candies on the left side of the board. When used correctly, vertical striped candies can help your cherries make those last crucial steps toward the exit. Try to line up these candies in one of the two left-side areas so that they align with your cherries — since they affect all candies in the leftmost columns, they can move your cherries up to four spaces toward the exit.

• For example: Imagine you have a cherry in the second row of the right section. If you manage to clear a vertical striped candy in the second row of the left side, your cherry will be moved four spaces toward the exit — not bad at all.

Try to detonate wrapped candies in the top-left area. In this level, wrapped candies can be very helpful if you can move them toward the top-left section. Since they will explode in a 3x3 area twice, clearing one in the right spot could move your candy as much as six spaces toward the exit, which is quite impressive.

• Though rare, combining wrapped candies in the top-left area is even more beneficial. The 5x5 explosion clears nearly the entire top-left section twice, allowing any cherries on the board to move up to 8 spaces toward the exit. Usually, that’s more than enough to get them off the board completely.

Keep ingredients at the center of the board, away from the edges. While this isn’t a strict rule, placing ingredients closer to the center columns and away from the edges is something to keep in mind. This setup gives you the best possible chances for creating combos, allowing ingredients to move down and disappear from the board, since the central columns have candies on both sides to facilitate moves, rather than just one side.

• Another useful strategy is to habitually move ingredients away from the edges. While this isn’t necessary, later in the game, it’s easy to accidentally drop ingredients into the corners, where they’re much harder to free. Be mindful early on so they can move toward the center.

Aim for a striped/wrapped combo. When you combine striped candies with wrapped ones, you'll create a cross-shaped combo that clears three rows and three columns. This can be incredibly useful in this level, especially if you're lucky enough to reach the top-left area this way. However, it’s important to perform this combo as quickly as possible to avoid running out of moves.

Aim for a color bomb/striped combo. Perhaps the most useful single combo for you in this level (aside from the rare color bomb/color bomb combo) is combining a color bomb with a striped candy. This will generate many random striped candies across the board, matching the color of the striped candy you used. Typically, this clears most, if not all, of the board quickly, meaning you could clear one or more cherries from the board in just one move.
