This guide will walk you through the steps to permanently delete your TikTok account on Android, iPhone, or iPad. When you delete your account, it will be 'deactivated' for 30 days. If you don't log in during this period, all your data and content will be permanently removed.
Steps

Open the TikTok app on your phone or tablet. The app icon looks like a white musical note on a black background, and it will appear on your home screen (iPhone/iPad) or in the app drawer (Android).
- Your account will be deactivated for 30 days before being deleted from TikTok's servers. If you wish to reactivate it during this period, simply log in again.
- Once you delete your account, you will no longer have access to the content you posted, and you will not be refunded for any purchases made.

- If you're not logged in yet, you will need to log in at this step.

Click on the three-dot icon ••• at the top right corner of the screen.

Select Manage My Account at the top.

Scroll down and select Delete Account. This option is located at the bottom of the Account Management screen. You will receive a confirmation prompt from the app.
- If you registered via another app like Twitter or Facebook, you will need to click Verify and Continue to log in to that app first before receiving the confirmation prompt to delete your account.

Click the red Delete Account button at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation window will pop up.
- Depending on your account settings, you may be asked to verify your phone number and enter a verification code to proceed. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm if prompted.

Click the Delete button to confirm. You will be logged out of TikTok immediately. Your account is now deactivated, and other users will not be able to view your videos on the app.
- If you change your mind, you can log in again before the 30-day period expires to reactivate your account.
Warning
- You cannot undo the account deletion process. All information, including your username, videos, followers, and likes, will be permanently removed. However, data stored in the cache (such as chat messages) may still be visible to the recipient.
