Note: The Zalo app has upgraded its security and privacy settings to a high level, so there is currently no tool available that can help you track someone else's activity on Zalo.
Therefore, Mytour encourages you and your close ones to actively share information with each other. Additionally, if necessary, you can refer to the method below to track someone else's Zalo account quickly and easily.
Method 1: Log into someone else's Zalo account on your phone/computer
Essentially, this method requires you to have the phone of the person you wish to track. Then, quickly log their Zalo account into your phone. This will allow you to easily monitor their messages and activities on Zalo.
Step 1: On your phone (or computer), open your web browser and go to Zalo's login page: https://id.zalo.me/.
Step 2: The Zalo login screen will appear, select With QR Code. A QR code will appear on the screen, waiting to be scanned.
Step 3: Now, open the camera on the phone of the person you want to track and scan the QR code to log in.
Step 4: A notification will appear on your phone saying: "QR code scanned successfully", along with the profile picture of the account you wish to track.
Step 5: Now, return to the other person's phone and press the Log In button when you see the prompt "Log in to Zalo using the QR code?"
At this point, you have successfully logged into the Zalo account of the person you want to track. From here, you can view all their messages and calls on Zalo since the login.
Method 2: Track location via Zalo using the location sharing and journey tracking feature
Location feature
If you and your family or friends need to share your locations to avoid getting lost while traveling, track your children on their way home, etc., the location feature is the most convenient option. Just follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the Zalo app on your phone, go to the chat of the person you want to share your location with, and tap on the three dots at the bottom ➔ Location.
Step 2: Grant permission for Zalo to access your location by tapping Allow while using the app.
Step 3: Once the location is shared successfully, select Send your current location ➔ Send to share your location with others.
Step 4: The location sharing is now complete. You or the other person are ready to track each other's location.
Live Journey Sharing Feature
If you or your family and friends want to track each other's entire journey in real-time, rather than just seeing the current location, you can choose to track via Live Journey Sharing as follows:
Step 1: In the chat with the person you want to share with, tap the three dots below ➔ Location.
Step 2: Allow Zalo to access your location (if prompted), then tap Allow while using the app.
Step 3: Select Share Live Journey. Here, you can choose to share your journey for 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours.
Step 4: At this point, you have shared your location so the other person can see it. Next, tap Invite more people to share ➔ Send invitation.
Step 5: Similarly, when the other person shares their live journey with you, both of you can now track each other's locations.
If you want to stop sharing your location, tap Stop sharing journey.
Method 3: Track someone else's Zalo account through shared status updates
In addition to directly sharing locations, you can track someone else's Zalo account and their location through status updates on their Zalo timeline. However, this method does not guarantee the accuracy of the location or activities of the other person at all times; it only reflects the situation at the moment the other person updates their status.
