This guide explains how to recover your disabled Facebook account. If you disabled the account yourself, simply log in to reactivate it. However, if Facebook disabled the account, you will need to submit an appeal for recovery. Depending on the situation, they will review your request. Note that if your account was deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Steps
Recovering a Self-Disabled Account

Make sure you can still recover the account. If you temporarily disabled your account, you can recover it anytime. However, if you decided to delete the account, you have 14 days from the moment you made that decision to change your mind and log back in.
- If the 14-day period has passed, your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Consider creating a new Facebook account.

Go to Facebook by visiting https://www.facebook.com/. This action will take you to Facebook's homepage.

Enter your email address or phone number in the "Email or Phone" field located in the top right corner of the page.

Enter your Facebook password. Type the password you use to log into Facebook in the "Password" field, which is located next to the email (or phone number) input field.

Click on Log In in the top right corner of the page. This will bring you to your account if you still have access.

Click on Cancel Deletion to stop account deletion. If you had previously chosen to delete your account, click the Cancel Deletion button to return to your Facebook account. You can now continue using Facebook as it was before the account was deactivated.
Submit an Appeal

Make sure your Facebook account has been disabled. Visit https://www.facebook.com/, enter your email address and password, then click Log In. If you see the message "Account disabled", it means your account has been locked by Facebook, and you can proceed to submit an appeal.
- If you can access your account normally, your account has not been disabled.

Go to the "My Facebook account has been disabled" page by visiting https://www.facebook.com/help/www/103873106370583/. You will need to do this on a computer.

Click on submit an appeal. This link appears next to the text "If you think your account was disabled by mistake, please" near the bottom of the page. The screen will display the appeal form.
- If the form requests that you log out, close your browser and reopen it. You may also need to clear your browser cookies before proceeding.

Enter your email address and phone number. Type the email address or phone number you want to use to log into Facebook in the "Login email address or mobile phone number" field near the top of the page.
- This must be the email address or phone number you typically use to log into your account.

Enter your name. Type the name you use for your Facebook account into the 'Your full name' field.
- This name doesn't necessarily need to be your real name.

Upload your identification document. This can include your driver's license, ID card, or passport. To do this, follow these steps:
- Take clear photos of the front and back of your ID and transfer the images to your computer.
- Click on Choose Files.
- Select the image you want to upload.
- Click Open.

Add extra information to your complaint form. In the 'Additional info' field near the bottom of the page, add any extra details you want to provide to Facebook. Some examples include:
- If your real name differs from the one on Facebook.
- If you suspect that your account has been hacked by someone.
- If you have clear evidence of someone using your Facebook account to engage in fraudulent or malicious activity.
- If you have been harassed by someone you believe may be behind the actions causing your account's suspension.

Click on Send (Send) in the lower-right corner to submit your request to Facebook. If Facebook decides to reverse your account suspension, they will notify you that your account is now accessible again.
Tips
- If you deactivate your Facebook account without specifying a recovery date, it will remain deactivated until you log in again.
- If you're having trouble accessing your account because you've forgotten your password, you can reset it to create a new one.
Warning
- There is no guaranteed method to recover an account that Facebook has disabled. The best thing you can do is submit an appeal; this is the only way to ensure that Facebook will review your account.
