Has your ROBLOX account been stolen through a phishing link? Or did you share your password with a stranger promising you something in return? It’s also possible that you accessed a fake free Robux website asking for your account details. Mytour will guide you through the process of recovering your hacked ROBLOX account by resetting your password. Once you regain access, you can set up 2-Step Verification to secure your account in the future.
Steps
Password Recovery

Try logging in with your password. If your password isn't accepted, make sure you're using the correct capitalization (and ensure that the ⇬ Caps Lock is not turned on).
- You should perform a full malware scan and eliminate any potential threats on your computer. Accounts are often hacked due to downloading harmful software or browser extensions. You can find more online about how to scan and remove malware.

Visit https://www.roblox.com/login/forgot-password-or-username using your web browser. If you're unable to log in, try resetting your password directly on the Roblox website.

Enter your email address and click the Submit button. If you've provided your email to Roblox (and the hacker hasn’t changed it), you can reset your password via the website.
- If you've also linked a phone number to Roblox, you can use that to reset your password. Simply click Use phone number to reset password (Located below the 'Submit' button), enter your phone number, and click Submit

Open the email from Roblox and click the Reset Password button. The password reset page will open in your browser.
- If you used a phone number to reset your account, enter the 6-digit code from the text message into the "Verify Phone" window and click Verify.
- If it takes a little longer, the email may not have arrived yet. Be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder if you don't see it after 10 minutes.

Create a new password. Once you're on the password reset page, type your new password into both fields and click Submit. Then, you’ll be able to log in to Roblox with your new account credentials.

Contact Roblox support if you're unable to reset your password. You can do so by filling out the form at https://www.roblox.com/support. Once Roblox support replies via email, you'll need to prove that you own the account. Here are some tips:
- When filling out the form, make sure to use the email address you originally registered with on Roblox. Even if the hacker changed your email, Roblox can still see the original registration information.
- If you've made any purchases on Roblox, be prepared to answer questions regarding your purchase history, credit card information, and PayPal account.
Enable 2-Step Verification

Visit https://www.roblox.com/my/account#!/security using your web browser. After regaining access to your hacked account, it's a good idea to activate 2-Step Verification to better protect your account in the future.
- When 2-Step Verification is enabled, Roblox will automatically send a verification code to the email address associated with your account. You will not be able to complete the login process until this code is entered. This adds a layer of protection, as anyone trying to access your Roblox account will need access to your email as well.

Verify your email address. Only verified email addresses can be used for 2-Step Verification. Here’s how to verify your email address:
- Enter your email address in the required field (if you haven't already) and click the Verify button.
- Open the email from Roblox (sent from [email protected]) and follow the on-screen instructions. If the email doesn’t arrive after a few minutes, check your Spam or Junk folder.
- Follow the steps in the email to complete the verification process.

Slide the "2-Step Verification" toggle to the On (green) position. A confirmation notification will appear.

Click OK to confirm. 2-Step Verification will now be activated for your account. In the future, when you log in to Roblox, an email containing the code will be sent to you. You will need to enter the code from the email to log in.
Advice
- Your email password and Roblox password should be different from each other.
- Never share your password with anyone, even if they claim to be from Roblox.
- Avoid accessing Free Robux games or websites. Doing so might result in losing your account.
- Use stronger passwords to keep your account secure. For example, avoid using pet names, and try replacing vowels with numbers.
- If your younger sibling also plays Roblox, don't let them use your main account. It's better to have separate accounts to avoid any confusion or accidental bans.
