Many users search for ways to delete their Zalo profile picture, but currently, Zalo does not offer an option to remove the profile picture in use. You can only delete old Zalo profile pictures (previously used images).
However, if you still wish to remove your current Zalo profile picture, you can follow the method below.
2. How to Remove Your Current Zalo Profile Picture by Using a Different Image
Since Zalo does not allow you to delete your profile picture, you need to replace it with another image and then proceed to remove the previous one. Follow these steps:
Step 1: On the Zalo app, open your personal profile by selecting Personal → Zalo name. Next, choose Zalo profile picture → Select an image from your device (or opt for other alternatives like taking a new photo or selecting from old profile pictures).
Step 2: Select the image you want to set as your profile picture, then click Done.
Step 3: After adding the new profile picture, go to My Photos → Profile Picture.
Step 4: Choose the Zalo profile picture you want to delete, tap the three-dot icon in the top-right corner of the image, and select Delete. Then confirm the deletion by clicking Delete again.
