Check the Return Conditions

Understand the return policy. According to Groupon's refund policy, you may be eligible for a refund based on the type of product you purchased under the following conditions:
- Local Deal — These items can be returned and refunded within 3 days of purchase.
- Groupon Getaway — You can cancel a Groupon Getaway at any time before the 'book-by' date.
- Groupon Goods — These items can be returned within 30 days of purchase.
- GrouponLive — Refunds are generally not available for these vouchers after purchase.
- The return process for Groupon products is notoriously complicated due to the lack of a customer service hotline and frequent issues with shipping details.

Understand the difference between cancellation policies. Unfortunately, Groupon's cancellation policy is much more difficult than their return policy, but canceling the order is the easiest (and least error-prone) way to get your money back:
- For Local Deals — Groupon allows customers to cancel within 1 day; after that, you won't be able to cancel the order yourself.
- For Groupon Getaways — The cancellation policy varies depending on the terms of the getaway.
- For Groupon Goods — You can cancel within two hours after booking. Although returns are possible after receiving the item, it's likely that you won’t receive the full refund.
- For GrouponLive — The deadline to cancel is 12:00 AM on the same day you made the booking.

Double-check to make sure you're canceling in the correct window. If you cancel within the correct window, you'll receive a refund; otherwise, you won’t be able to cancel your order.

Ensure that you haven't viewed the voucher after purchasing. If you view the Groupon voucher after purchase, you will no longer be able to cancel the order.

Determine if the voucher is a "Final Sale" item.
If the terms of the Groupon voucher contain "All sales are final" or "Final Sale," you won't be able to cancel the order.
Cancel Groupon Voucher

Launch Groupon. Open https://www.groupon.com/ on your web browser. The main Groupon page will load.
- If you're not logged in yet, click Sign In in the top-right corner, enter your email and password, and hit Sign In to proceed.

Hover over your name. Place your cursor over your name in the upper-right corner. A drop-down menu will appear.

Click on My Groupons (My Groupons). This option is found in the drop-down menu. Your account page will open up.

Click on the "Deals" drop-down menu. This option is located at the center of the page. A menu will appear below it.

Click on ALL (All) from the drop-down menu. All your Groupon vouchers will be displayed on the account page.

Find your order. Scroll down to locate the Groupon order you wish to cancel.

Click on View Details (View Details). This option is found on the right side of the order. The voucher page will open.

Click on the Cancel Order (Cancel Order) option located at the top-left of the page.
- You may need to click on Edit Order before proceeding.
- If the Cancel Order option is not visible, the order cannot be canceled.

Follow the on-screen instructions. You will need to confirm the cancellation process and enter your password (if prompted). Once you see the confirmation that the order has been canceled, you will have successfully returned the voucher.

Alternatively, use Customer Support. If you can't find the Cancel Order option on your voucher page, you can cancel directly via Customer Support as follows:
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Customer Support under the "More" section.
- Click on My Orders.
- Check the box next to your order and click Choose.
- Click on Continue With This Order.
- Type cancel in the "Tell us what's going on" text box.
- Click on the self-cancel link found under "Editing or Canceling Your Order." If this link opens a blank page or shows an error, you won't be able to cancel the order.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
