Today, Mytour will guide you on how to rotate images in Adobe Photoshop on both Mac and Windows computers.
Steps

Open or create a Photoshop file. To begin, double-click the blue app icon with the letters "Ps", then click on File in the top menu bar, and then:
- Click Open... to open an existing document; or
- Click New... to create a new document

Click on a layer. In the "Layers" menu at the bottom right of the screen, click on the layer that contains the object you want to rotate.
- If you can't find the "Layers" menu, click Windows in the top menu bar, then select Layers. The "Layers" options menu will appear at the bottom right corner of the Photoshop window.

Click the Quick Select Tool. The icon, resembling a brush with a dashed outline, is located near the top of the left-hand toolbar.
- If the Quick Select Tool is not visible, press and hold the Magic Wand Tool to reveal a menu with the Quick Select Tool option.

Select the object. Use the Quick Select Tool to highlight the image area you wish to rotate.
- If you're rotating the entire layer, no selection is necessary.

Click on Edit in the top menu bar.

Click on Transform in the middle of the dropdown menu.

Click on Rotate 180° to flip the image or layer upside down.

Click on Rotate 90° Clockwise to rotate the image or layer 90° clockwise.

Click on Rotate 90° Counter Clockwise to rotate the image or layer 90° counterclockwise.

Click on Rotate to rotate the object freely. A frame with eight small squares will surround the selected area.
- Click and hold on any of the small squares and use the mouse pointer to rotate the object.
- The rotation angle will be displayed in the small frame above the mouse pointer while you're performing the action.

Press the ⏎ Return key when you're satisfied with the results.
